I had a nightmare that Koharu was the 10th gen member, tsunku made some speech about a dramatic revival, all of the fans stopped buying cds and going to concerts and everyone blamed Erina.



I then woke up in a panic and my wife was like "what the fuck is wrong with you" and I was this - close to blurting out the truth before I told her I had a nightmare about one of our dogs running away.



So.... unless that happens which it won't, anything else from 10th gen will be a dream come true.

I had a very similar dream... I dreamed that the 10th gen is only one girl and tsunku said that she is an ace and her sole porpuse is to be the miracle and replace ai, but as time goes by she is going downhill with her too high pitched voice!!



Than I woke up and realised tsunku will probably join 4 members or so to the group...

I really wasn't blown away by any of them, eventhough of course this was just a reaaally short video to "introduce" 10 people.

At least none of them I outright hate just by looking at them, I guess that's worth something...

Saying anything about their singing talent is pretty much impossible from that short video.

Even for the older ones.

Yes, but what I could hear didn't sound promising and they are mostly little kids again, I think there was one 16 year old and the rest were 11-14 (that's from memory I ain't watching it again).



I did seriously hope that the 10th Gen might have some older girls with voices of Ai/Risa standards and then I might have got interested again but more kids is the final nail in the coffin for me.



I seriously don't get Tsunku's thinking <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... nfused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />.



I know nobody will agree but I really wished, if Tsunku wanted to go down this kiddie route, he had retired MM (maybe merged it with Dream MM) and started a new group. I would have been disappointed but this just pisses me off.

#8 was the only one who somehow stood out for me after watching it once. Overall though, the outlook seems pretty dire.

#1 Haruka is seriously adorable. I think I like her.



#2 (was her name Haruna?) has crazy eyes. I could barely hear her singing in her little clip, though, both because the voice-over was loud and she sounds like her singing voice is super soft.



#3, Masaki, failed to make an impression.



#4 Meru is kind of cute, but I don't know if I like her. She sounds like she could grow to have a decent singing voice, though.



#5 Hinako reminds me of Matsui Rena in the face, but like Masaki she didn't make much of an impression.



#6 I didn't catch her name. Meh.



#7 Is her name Sasaki? Her voice was kind of obnoxious, but she's cute. I like her.



#8 Ayumi is a much prettier version of Riho with a slightly more bearable voice. If she turned out to have a personality, she'd be better in every way that matters.



#9 Tanaka. I really didn't like her voice in the little clip I heard of it. Most people don't have voices that really gets on my nerves but I have a feeling her's would.



#10 Sara is super cute and I like her voice. She looks a lot like someone else but I can't think of who at the moment. She'd probably be my top choice.





I like Sara, Ayumi, Haruka, and Sasaki right now. The clip was so short I could easily change my mind later. And the singing clips WERE short and talked over the entire time so my feelings about their voices right now don't mean a whole lot either. It's not as if I really care all that much about singing ability anyway unless their voice just really annoys me.



P.S Natsu-sensei is like the devil and I would never audition if I knew that she was what I would have to go up against in the final round.

Watching the clip now. Had myself a massive toothache so I couldn't watch it earlier other then to complain about lack or Karin and H!P Time trolling me with Miyazaki ONLY NOT TO ADD HER TO THE TOP 10. (HATE YOU!!!!)



#1 I love Haruka, Every group needs a Haruka. And if she's the only egg Tsunku is giving me, then I'll take her.



#2 Haruna has crazy eyes and ears and a big Kanon smile. DO NOT WANT!



#3 I think I heard that she was from Hokkaido. Morning Musume has always done good with the girls from there so I'll give her a benefit of a doubt.



#4 Looks kinda like Kago but with more eyebrows. But she lacks a Kago voice and that's a bad thing. She sounds like Kanon.



#5 I don't like when they don't sing, that usually means they suck. But other then her fancy footwork she left me with an impression of 0.



#6 No one needs an Ayumi in their group. I thought it would have been another dancer, but then they let her sing and it was another no. She ruined a perfectly good song.



#7 No, just no.



#8 She's a keeper, though she picked a horrible audition song.



#9 When is this over? Shoot me now.



#10 Oh... I can deal with this one. She's got a bit of a boyish character to her and her voice isn't that bad. You see that #6? That's how you sing that song.



So I like #1 Haruka, #8 and #10. The rest can go away and never come back.



In the end, I'm holding onto a blind hope of some S/mileage auditioners getting in on a pity vote. They've already gone through the camps they don't need to go through them a second time. GET CRAZY WITH ME TSUNKU!

Cause this is a horrible 10, probably worse then the fail of the first 7th Gen Audition. None of these girls are making me feel genki, no offense to Haruka.

Reading it, I think I have a new respect for #10 who has no experience what so ever. And #3 has about 10 years of Piano experience. Get her and let's have Mano and her have some dueling Pianos at the next H!P concert. It'll be great!



Oh and apparently the owner of Sayunii is in the same camp as me that the S/mileage auditioners don't need to go to camp again and is holding onto the hope that Tsunku's a crazy trollin' bastard. ...bastard

Pfft, Kanon has BAGS FULL of personality as does Eripon, Mizuki might lack personality but the girl can sing.



And as we all know, Riho is the best dancer H!P has ever had by quite a margin.



And are you REALLY complaining that the new generation will consist of young girls... Hasn't it been that way for years?



Although when you look at it, MM have never REALLY been successful as a young girl group, what was the average of the group when Love Machine was released?

The way I understood it (sleepily watching while distractedly packing xD) these are the final 10 that are going to the camp.



I don't have any impressions yet, the clips were too short and talked over. I'm pissed that there's no Karin, but like PQ said I'm holding out for her to be added Mizuki-style. Or hey, make her a soloist for a tiny bit and add her Miki style! I just don't want to see her go the way of Kikka. As much as I love Kikka and her solo songs so far, it's disappointing that she's being promoted outside of H!P and isn't getting the same media push groups like S/mileage have gotten. Karin is just what MM needs - cute and bouncy with a good voice. She's no Takahashi, but I don't really want another Takahashi. I think it's time for MM to move on from songs that require them to have a super talented vocalist to belt out the lines.
