Haruna's smile looks so genuine. I think I can really see myself liking her, even though she doesn't fit in with the generation at all. 1st and 4th gen were kind of hodgepodge, too.

I did have a dream a while ago that Ayumi got sick like Fuu-chan or had some injury and left. (Not that I don't like her).



Rumor's on 2ch say that Aika will have an emergency graduation and that Miyamoto Karin will take her place. Not that I believe it.

I feel like they were getting ready for an Aika push this year before her injury. She got her photobook, her own FC tour, a good number of lines in the spring concert, she went on more shows than usual (not alone, but still) and she's gotten to sing in all the singles this year.

She was definitely getting a push. She had just turned 18 and was finally able to do late night work, but the injury screwed it all up for her.

I do feel like Aika's spot in the group is increasingly in jeopardy though. She's not even in that group picture above, which is a first (?). They usually at least stick her in there awkwardly with someone covering up her boot.

Anyway, as for Karin, the only problem I have with Karin possibly joining in the future is that I'd have to constantly hear about how she's the ace that's going to save Morning Musume. And that would be kind of annoying because I get enough of that.

I don't see why everyone thinks Kudou is so great she was alright in her audition and Tsunku has already stated that Ayumi is the 10th gen ace.

And about Karin. I don't see what's so great about her at all.

Masaki doesn't look so bad, the hair style could use some work. But there's something wrong with Risa. Her hair is too big for her body.

I'm still surprised Tsunku wants to make Ayumi the 'ace'. Like I mentioned before, I didn't get the impression that she was the fan favorite. At least Riho's big push made sense, since the wota are crazy about her.

Kanon is the future Kago/Hitomi, she looks....different already. I love her to death though! Risa doesn't even look the same, either. This photoshoot just isn't flattering to the girls at all.

I think Masaki's smile looks fine, it actually looks natural. Ayumi looks really stiff though. Aika looks unhappy. Everyone else looks good except Fuku-chan...one of her eyes looks almost shut and her face suddenly looks chubby and weird. Maybe something funky happened when the photo got resized.



I'm not a fan of these outfits, they look too similar to Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai. I hope Morning Musume isn't going to have to wear red all the time now with the Mobekimasu promotion going on. I like it better when they mix up the outfits and aren't all wearing the same thing =/
