Sayaka is unfortunately probably only going to move down more, even though in my brief experiences with AKB she's stood out to me the most by far. I guess Japanese men and American women have a much different idea of what's sexy <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

I'm happy for Umeda! She's super talented and she works hard so it's great to see it pay off, although not gonna lie, being center for Undergirls is actually a way better deal than being last for Senbatsu XD Way more screen time.



Unfortunately, Masuda Yuka fell down six spots! She was so freaking close to making Senbatsu last time =/ She's so under rated. Unmistakably one of the best voices in AKB48.

I'm happy Miichan went up one spot, but she lost like 50 votes this year..Well I didn't vote for her this year though, and I gave her 2 last year, I didn't vote at all this year though...

But I guess all senbatsu got bumped up one spot since Acchan isn't there.



I'm happy Mayuyu got #2. Looking at the votes for the top girls, it seems like less people voted, or maybe if they knew their popular oshi was going to get into senbatsu, they voted for a different lower ranked girl.

Yuko was a shoo-in for #1, it was kind of less exciting this year because there was no tension between #1 and #2.

It was cool to see so many new girls rank though! Glad they added to the number of spots!



I feel bad for Shimada Haruka not ranking at all D:

I'm glad Nagao Mariya ranked well!

Sad that Suuchan, Rabutan, and Komorin ranked so low! What happened to those 3? They were staple undergirls before...but glad at least Miho got a higher rank.

And lastly yay for my B-day twin Nakaya Sayaka!

Oh and Kuumin who didn't rank last year got in the (too much SKE) undergirls<3 My SKE oshi~

Why is it surprising at all? She was only #12 for the first election when there was less girls (and less fans) but she's been #19 for the past 2 elections, she only went down once in rank, it's just that they changed senbatsu this year from 1-21 to 1-16. It was to be expected.

I'm not surprised that Sayaka A. slipped, but what really annoys me is that if this was the regular voting, she would have JUST made senbatsu. :/ Did a lot of people lose votes compared to last year?

It's also really hard to overtake a lot of the girls because they've been main girls since day one. The others can't compete with their large fanbases. And the average fan probably only knows the main senbatsu girls they see on TV. Theater girls have no chance.

I just watched episode 7 of akb0048 and I'm surprised at the older girls reactions to seeing that someone could be more like the original members than them. I mean they know they are going to be replaced some day, so why are they so surprised.

How is it a joke? Just cause you and other don't like her doesn't mean she isn't awesome. She obviously is doing something right to beat Mariko, right? I don't understand why so many people don't like her.

Just finished watching the last two episodes of 0048. Ooo things be gettin' good.



I like how they started to focus on other girls besides the pink haired Maeda clone.

It is! I was surprised I'd like it as much as I do. I wasn't expecting much from the girls voice acting, but they do a pretty damn good job. The plot is all sorts of cheese but I still like it.

Because they want Kanata to be promoted, but she has only been Takamina for a year or so, and she's been doing her best as Takamina this whole time she's upset that a KKS is more like Takamina than her, which makes sense, but at the same time they think Kanata should be a full member, but they don't want to lose their leader and she's not ready to graduate.

Sashihara Rino is being transferred to HKT48 as punishment for her recent "scandal". This means she was friends with the guy that apparently had semi-nude pictures of her. OTHER GIRLS (like Natsumi Hirajima) had to quit over such things (minus nudes), and she gets to transfer? How unfair, it's definitely because Aki-P favors her over most other idols in the 48 business.



Ughhhh add Rino to my dislike list again. Poor HKT48, they already have gotten the shaft compared to the other girls. I don't even like HKT48 and think this is unfair.

Poor Rino and poor HKT48. I hope Sasshi is able to come back from this. I know a lot of people don't like her but I will continue to support her and hope like someone suggested they don't edit her out of the new song. She got super lucky she is favored and I hope she doesn't waste this chance.

That's because Nacchan and Yone didn't deny it. They acknowledged they broke the rules, and made the decision their selves to leave.

We don't know that this is even true, Sasshi denied that this all happened, although she did know the guy so to an extent it's true but... Also the fact that this came out right after senbatsu elections is suspicious imo.

Well, she's also popular. Like Saya said, those two admitted to it and they weren't well known members, so no one felt bad about completely ditching them. Maybe Rino did admit to it behind the scenes, but there's no way they were going to kick her out.



It does suck for the HKT girlsthat HKT might just become a vehicle to promote her (there is the problem of them not having an empty spot on Team H though), but who knows. I wonder if they'll eventually let her go back to AKB48. Sayaka got her captain position back.
