12th generation "Mirai Shoujo" Audition

Has there ever been a member to join MM who got cut in a previous generation's audition? Not including Reina who was cut because of age and Miki who was her own crazy thing.

No? I just mean people who specifically auditioned for MM once, failed, and then got in another year. The only one who fits that is Haruka, since people mentioned she auditioned for 9th and failed. LinLin never auditioned. Mizuki joined H!P via an egg audition, then got into MM the first time she auditioned for that group. Sakura joined the eggs after auditioning for S/mileage then got into MM her first time auditioning for MM. 


The reason I asked was because I was curious what chances Rikako had after failing 11th gen. I feel like it's kind of unlikely that they'd pass up a girl for a group only to take her at a later time, but I didn't realize that happened for Haruka. I kind of like her and want her to get in, but at the same time I feel like she's the type of girl who seems cool and we'd want to see pushed but we'll only ever see her in the background. I don't want any more of those

I wouldn't say Mizuki truly "failed" her audition. It's not like she was added way later like 8.5 gen. I'm sure Tsunku telling her she failed was all part of one his usual troll moves.

After Karin failed the S/mileage audition, she moved on to saying she wanted to be a soloist. I don't know if it's ever been said she didn't audition for MM, but I think she wanted to be in S/mileage more.

Well, we know she auditioned for S/mileage and we all agreed she was easily the best, they obviously didn't want to dump the best singer in H!P in a sinking ship!
 
After that we don't know anything, personally I think the idea of Karin being in a new group has been bubbling since she auditioned for S/mileage.
 
She did say she would rather be "solo or in a new group" at the time of the last MM audition.

I doubt it. We didn't get 10th gen footage till early September, and 11th gen till late August, and don't forget that the auditions got pushed back several weeks.
MM is going to want to focus more on promoting their new single than focusing on new members right now.
 
This coming ep will probably be about the Summer Hello Concert, maybe JJ's Debut, and probably the Wagamama dance shot.

C-ute's Otodama live is going to be featured for sure, but I don't know what else.
 
On Topic. As much as I enjoyed the audition footage, the girls I liked never got in so it always sucked for me to watch.
 
Now... if they did a separate, audition for the K!Eggs to get into the finals, that would be interesting to watch.

I just want one Kenshuusei and one new girl. I would be really happy to see that.

I want a Kenshuusei to get in, but I have no idea which one. All I know is  that I don't want it to be Sasaki Rikako. I have no idea why. She's a good kenshuusei (from when I've heard her sing). But its just all of those crazy fans she has I guess. Its like Miyamoto Karin all over again.

I agree about the Rikako thing. I honestly would like to see Rie in a group, or maybe MM. She's been around since 2008 and has been constantly overlooked. I feel kind of bad for her since shes really isn't that horrible... The only other person I would like to see in MM is Nanami. The rest kind of just look like babies to me.
