Some people on H!O are having trouble getting it to play too. I don't know how to fix it, but if another link comes up I'll post it. I've been trying to find recordings that aren't downloads or full concerts but no one's really been putting up much.

P.S. I'm 10000% sure that a Riho and Ayumin performance when you actually see it will be AMAZING, you'll watch them dancing like bosses and totally forget about the terrible vocals.

Yeah, rob, it was definitely the fact that you said "nailed it". I was expecting something awesome, and instead it was something that was, as a singer, hard to listen to. Yeah, they definitely sounded out of breath and stuff, which is something I personally understand, but you kind of set a high expectation for me.



I have no beef with Karin, but I do love Takechan, who I guess I've only actually heard sing live once before so I was more taken aback by how...bad it was. But of course I never expect H!P girls to be perfect from the get go.



BTW, it always bothered me that Rika got chosen for main vocal parts over better singers (ie 7AIR...need I say more?). I couldn't stand Konno at first because of her lack of vocal ability, but she grew on me with her personality.

Rika couldn't sing, but I personally never found her voice unpleasant. Tsunku never really tossed anything at her she couldn't handle, so she always sounded fine to me.

I agree for the most part, except for in 7AIR and ROMANS it has always bothered me that all of the designated "rappers" had much more pleasant singing voices than she did. I also think she would have sounded awesome rapping. But to each his own.



Anyway, listened to the Ayumi/Riho version. It sounded strained, but I was surprised at how pretty much on key they were. And I agree...this is one I think I would enjoy better with video. It sounds like they had a major dance break there.

Ayumi is horrible. I really hope she either learns to sing, gets shoved in the back, or leaves the group to be honest. Riho sounds horrible because she's strained but she at least hit some of the notes.

To be honest I was listening to it kind of quiet and didn't actually hear half the song. But what I did hear was on key.

I think my train of thought went from Bus Skit with Rika's crying character to that lyric, because it was fitting that she sings it.

I'm guessing the Riho/Ayumi dance will make up for average vocals. I have high hopes for that. They aren't my favorites, but they sure can dance.

I didn't think so either... but I looked it up and those strips on her legs are called suspenders.

Al's probably used to hearing the term garter belts (that's what I've always said too), but apparently it's not even a British vs. American thing. Didn't Tsunku use the word "sexy" to describe some of the girls or something during the auditions, or am I crazy? Because if he did, putting that kind of outfit on Riho isn't too surprising.



She actually looks kind of awesome in that picture though and I usually don't like her.

The way the edge of the garterbelts cut slightly into the fat of her thigh leads me to believe that they aren't full tights.



edit: also I hate to be the one that asks, but has Kanon put on more weight or is it just the awful styling that makes her look bigger?

I wasn't going to mention it without being labeled a creepier for staring at a girls legs to determine if she was wearing tights or not. So thanks for taking one for the team. (I agree with you by the way.)

The only thing I want to say about Zukki in that picture is that those shoes are awful. Get rid of them.



Also, I wish she'd wear her hair down more again. They really seem into shoving her hair into a ponytail with a stupid bow lately, but with her hair down it frames her pretty face better.

They really do not know how to style girls who aren't stick-thin. I feel like their stylist needs an intervention in general. Even though I like Eripon's outfit, it's not for the right reasons.
