Whoa, double post.

Alien vs Predator was 90% off on Amazon so I thought why the hell not. And I just got my xeno ass whipped pretty hard. That was actually my first multiplayer FFP experience (not counting the AvP demo just when it came out). <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I'll get to the single missions later.

Anyway, if anyone's up for an easy kill match, let me know.

What's FFP ?

You mean FPS ?

I also played a few hours of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light with my flatmate. I had to buy a shitbox controller for the second player, my TWO other controllers were not really supported and so the second player couldn't shoot.

Co-op games are just so great and this one has some easy, but great co-op puzzles.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time until exams are over (January 31st), so we'll have to be patient and wait to play more.

I meant FPP haha. But FPS is probably even more appropriate. I like the first google result for FFP though.

I could never get into any Tomb Raider games, and that was back in the time when 1 and 2 came out. The association with Angelina is not helping at all now. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I've also had to look up "FPP". I guess you mean first-person perspective. Yeah, I've never heard that abbreviation. lol

I never cared about Tomb Raider either, but this one is very different.

I am on a mad Ivalice kick lately so I pulled FFTA2 back out (which I don't know why I stopped playing in the first place) and started FFXII over since I was way stuck and need to level up more in the beginning. I will probably pull out FFT again but I'm stuck on the Izlude battle like whoa.

Besides that I have been playing like every Mario ever because I now officially have all my old consoles hooked up along with the wii.

I finally got around to play some of the games I bought during the Steam winter sale.

I'm still wondering why Steam has no general a"chievement bar-o-meter", since ever other system does it. Oh well, achievements aren't that important anyway.

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box

Holy shit, this game is fast ! I'm just driving around and breaking stuff, not even doing any missions. hah The races can be extremely intense though.

Darksiders

Holy shit, this game is loud ! It's also a lot of fun. Simply put, this is the game Twilight Princess should have been and not the uninteresting borefest TP turned out to be.

Serious Sam HD

I got the SS FE/SE + the HD remakes in a bundle for 4€. Honestly, anything above 10€ would have been a ripoff. They didn't even bother to relocate the secrets and easter eggs in the remakes ! lol

But for <10€ and if you don't have them already it's a good buy.

Recettear

While fun at first, it gets boring really fast. Luckily I've only spent 5,10€ on it. Haven't touched it in 2 weeks and probably will never play it again.

As I've probably mentioned before, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is extremely good in co-op.

Still have to play ArmA 2, Saints Row 2, Bully (played this on PS2 a bit already and liked it), more Just Cause 2, more Batman - Arkham Asylum, more Mount & Blade Warband and more Deathspank.

I also bought Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena for 5€ a few weeks ago, but won't get around to it until early summer probably. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... nfused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Fuck those retards who say PC gaming is dead.

I couldn't get into Burnout Paradise, coming from someone who loved Burnout Revenge. I hated the fact that, if I wanted to immediately retry a race, I had to drive all the back to where the race starts, and half the races leave you stranded in the boonies. The other major problem I had was the lack of direction the game gives you during races... which sounds like a good idea since it becomes open ended where you can create your own path, but it ends up being "oh, I guess I'll go left here, since the map is pointing me in that general direction-- oh shit, every every car went right, and this road loops around and now I'm last."

Also, I just now noticed your 999 post, Special Needs Tricycle. They just released a series of answers to popular questions (spoilers, obviously) on the aksys website that confirms some of our theories and makes some things even more up for debate.

Minor spoiler:

I really liked how they showed us which characters map to which Ennegram personality. I had heard about it but assumed they each mapped to the number on their watch, and dismissed it when I saw that barely any of those matches made sense.

Currently playing Donkey Kong Country Returns, which started off kinda slow but has really come into it's own. It has just the right amount of difficulty, the charm of the original DKC games partially due to some great remixes of old DKC songs, and great platforming.

This is my first Burnout game and I just bought it because it was just too damn cheap, so I'm happy with it. I like not having any directions, this makes me remember the city better than just driving around via directions.

I've played it 4 hours last night with my flatmate. hah

I don't remember writing something about that game.

Derp, don't know how I mistook that. Probably cause my only activity on this forum was replying to you on the Lost thread. :P

Anyway, My first Burnout was Revenge for PS2... The only major gameplay difference (besides the non-world map) is having a mode where you try to cause the biggest crash, which was a nice change of pace sometimes. Overall I prefered Revenge, but I do like the fact that, on the PS3 version of Paradise at least, you can customize the soundtrack entirely.

^ that special edition my gosh! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

I am playing Phantasy Star Portable again because my bro bought the game and wants to play together.

Once the 15th comes, it's Matsuno day and I am all up on Tactics Ogre. I even preodered 2 copies of the game! And if I could find a freaking euro game site that would import over here, I'd buy the euro edition too. :/ freaking europeans and their better special editions FREAKING USA BRANCHES CHEAPASSES

It is also dragon quest day, but that game will remain sealed until i beat TO. I think it's also Radiant Historia day...

Is it getting too obvious I'm a RPG whore?

Fine, it's also Marvel v. Capcom day. That game will not be sealed and I will probably end up playing it before TO when it's all said and done because MvC is the newer game I've never played hahaha. I'm waiting to see which version ends up better before I invest in a tourney stick. Plus, deadpool, lol hopefully it's cool deadpool and not the shit whored out deadpool

Sadly there's no Bea Arthur tribute in the credits, but it's most likely the first ending in videogame history to include the word "beeyotch."

I'm not playing this, but it's driving my crazy because I can't remember the title.

It was a game made by a teenager that had an 8-bit look and referenced at lot of things from classic games. It might have been GTA inspired, in gameplay. I think River City Ransom was significant too.

Edit: nevermind

Damn, it's not even out yet.

As for playing... as for one play?

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is so goooood but so different from the last one~! I actually find it a lot harder since a lot of the comboing involves lots of animation cancel. I will master it one day. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... dammit.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':dammit:' />

Right now I am playing it online with my fiancee's account so if you want to add us on Xbox our XBL is "Paint Chaser" If you play versus Haggar, Amaterasu and Viewtiful Joe it's him~ If you play vs Chris, Deadpool and Ironman it's me. ♥

Also this game made me realize Glactus is a really stupid character. I didn't really acknowledge just how lame he is until this game because I actually took the time to think about how stupid his concept is. I am not even a sore ass about him being hard or anything. I just find him to be a super queer, magenta clad, loner, giant man just 'illin in space. Soooo lame it breaks my brain.

Also where is my BBHood? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />

I finally spent some quality time with Mount & Blade Warband and it's really good. I've already spent 50~60h with the first game and could import my character into Warband. The multiplayer is crazy, I've already played on 160 players siege servers.

Plundering, looting, trading, fighting, arrr !

I also finally got around to finish Monkey Island 2 SE. I love the characters so damn much. I've played Tales of MI, MI 1 SE, MI 2 SE and MI 3 now and they were all pretty great and very entertaining. Had to play it with my shitbox controller (for PC) though, since Guybrush waaaalks soooo slooow it was a pain in the ass to move him around with the mouse. Hopefully Telltale will make another season when they're finished with BTTF (and the rather uninteresting Jurassic Park).

That being said, I'll also buy the BTTF Adventures as soon as the 'season' is finished.

I finished Darksiders a few days ago and I really hope Darksiders 2 will be just as good or even better. It was a whole lot of fun to play, but I want 1~2 more likeable characters, nearly all of the dudes in this game were badass assholes. haha

Oh and War's last sentence in the game made me clap my hands, what a great ending, I even got goosebumps and screamed out "Holy shit ! Well done developers !".

MvC3 is pretty fun, but still really hard to learn if you aren't used to those types of fighting games. My favorite team so far is Tron, X-23, then I haven't decided a third (Zero, Captain America, Iron Man, Deadpool, Super Skrull) If at any point I decide to buy it, my PSN is Zounder1002 if anybody wants to add me.

Oh, also, I just bought Civilization V after trying out the demo. I had never played a Civ game before, seems like it's a good franchise.

Played through Bulletstorm in a day. Better than your average shooter but nowhere near as interesting as I heard it to be. People talked about it like it was a quirky game like Borderlands, but it turns out its basically Gear of War in 1st person more.

Also started up Dead Space 2 last night. Awesomely tense and a lot faster paced than the first one. Now bring on Dragon Age 2!!!
