Anyone else playing/played Dragon Quest XI?  It has easily overcome even IV as my favorite in the series.  I haven't beaten it yet but I'm getting damn close.

I picked it up on Black Friday but I haven't played it yet. I've heard it was one of the best of the series.

It absolutely is.  I've already sunk 65 hours into the game and I got a switch at the same time and I've barely touched that.

I finally am playing things on my 3DS besides the Ace Attorney games. RN playing Tales of the Abyss, a port of the PS game. It's awesome. Also ordered a bunch more games for cheap on eBay.

That one's ordered and on its way too. I loved the DQ games on the DS and might pick those up as well down the road, but they're getting more expensive now.

This is going to sound silly but DQVII was my favorite use of the 3D part of 3DS.

Confession... I've never actually used the 3D feature. I can never get my eyes to focus correctly (I have a lazy eye that tends to focus on another part of the screen) so it just doesn't work. I fare better with actual 3D glasses which do the focusing for me.
 
I'm about 6 hours in and this game is amazing. Love it.

Neither do I, it's annoying and way too inconsistent on the 3DS XL.

I beat DQXI last week right before leaving for Vegas for a work trip.  My ex told me I should save it for something to look forward to when I got back and I hate to say it but he was fucking right and I feel BIG SAD right now lol.  I'm gonna finish up my fourth playthrough of FFIX real quick though before finally starting Persona 5.

Annnnnd I finally started P5 about a month ago.  It's frustrating for me because I'm a grinder and early on that's not good in this game because healing is limited but other than one really big setback I have been mostly enjoying it.  Something a little different for me.  I am yearning for DQ again though lol

Does anybody here play Sims? I've wanted to basically my whole life but never got around to buying it... well Sims 4 is free right now so guess I'm getting started!

I played a bit of Sims 1, but only for the house building aspect.
Played a bit more of The Sims 2 since the 3D made it a much more interesting world.
Never touched 3 & 4.

I played 1 and 3 and I'm totally going to download 4 now. Is it the one that doesn't let you have toddlers? To be honest I don't mind, I never liked kids in the Sims after all.
Building houses is probably the most enjoyable thing to do.

I've never really played a sims game before but I have watched some lets plays of it and it looks fun so getting it while its free was a good decision.

I got Stardew valley for the switch and I’ve sunk a fair amount of time into it already. I’ve also been playing Bayonetta and while the game is fun, I have no idea what is actually going on. I beat Nier Automata recently as well


I still do play No Man’s Sky but I tend to rotate between different games

I got Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Friday but wasn't able to play until last night for various reasons.  I'm pretty excited about it.

It turns out I'm pretty bad at Fire Emblem but I'm already obsessed with Edelgard, my house leader, and every ginger in the school.  I've only lost one guy so far but I've also replayed two battles to avoid losing others...

The newest FE is easy peezy haha! I’m almost finished with the Blue Lions route. Only time I’ve had to restart is when I was doing Anettes paralogue because she starts on the other side of the map with knights surrounding her who all attack her on turn one and it’s insta-game over if she dies.

It's just so different from FFT that I am taking some time to get used to it. I'm getting better though.  I keep striking out with Edelgard but I am like full in love with Sylvain right now so.

Update since last time: I married Sylvain and now I am really into the swing of things.  Replaying as a Blue Lion this time.
 
AND TODAY DQXI COMES OUT FOR SWITCH AND DQ I-III ARE ON THE ESHOP.  This is exciting for me because even though I haven't beaten all of them, II and III are the only DQs I haven't played besides X which was an MMO and not released stateside.  Guess what I'm dedicating my weekend to?

It's been a few months and I still play a lot of Stardew Valley. I have fairly limited games with me when I'm living at college so it's been nice. I'm interested in the new Dragon Quest game although I've never played any previous games.
