Rihanna's new studio album, Rated R, is releasing on the 20th. A few singles from the album, like Russian Roulette and Hard (feat. Jeezy), and the promo single Wait Your Turn. The album is making it's way on the airwaves and the usual channels (coffcoff)
Ne-Yo said in an interview to "expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one" and that she "says some things on this album that you've never heard her say before," while Akon stated that he is "going to lighten her up" and that he doesn't "want an angry Rihanna." He then stated that the album is definitely more edgy than the way we're used to seeing Rihanna, and described the album as liberated. I'm enjoying the new style. It's all kinda reminiscent of Disturbia, but more...infected.
