Yeah. Are those stretchmarks on her inner thighs or is just that the pic or shadows? I see a bit of rippling...

Those were my thoughts. I was gonna remark on how terrible her thigh came out in that picture.



But my favorite picture among the previews on the blog is certainly the one where her jeans are falling off. I can only assume that she had grown too large for the jeans, but still wanted to wear them. So she fashioned those makeshift suspenders so that the jeans were still wearable without having to button them. Later that day, as she was testing her new cape, she then took the suspenders off but forgot that the jeans were still unbuttoned.

Neither. It is called a normal human thigh. We just haven't seen one of those in a long time from anorexic and super airbrushed Japanese idols. That photo looks like a still from a making-of though so I bet they'll photoshop her skin smooth in the real thing. Or not. Remember that godawful Kamei PB?



Risako is beautiful! I don't like the extensions very much though. Maybe they'll do something edgy since she's wearing some Lady Gaga-esque bikinis.

That's one of my favorites too, but the bikini hanging out kind of ruins it for me.

I'm not anti H!P bikinis, I just feel like it would be prettier without it hanging out.

We were watching the making of video for this over the weekend and I was in shock for a little while because of how much they kept her clothes on, with the kind of reputation she has, but then I remembered a few minutes in that she's still only 15 and it didn't seem all that odd anymore. She is pretty, but the settings and outfits in the video don't really lend themselves to great looking pictures. Also, I'm pretty sure this is her 5th book, which is kinda crazy considering how most of the newer H!P members are just now getting their first book (Chisato, Masaa, MaiMai) and some of them still don't have their own but hugely deserve them (both Saki's, namely.)

Risako is very pretty so on some level, her PB just won't disappoint too much. I'm hoping the photos do come out beautifully even if the locations are blah. My friend just got her wedding photos taken in this trashy part of downtown LA but they were AMAZING and came out very artistic.

By her reputation I just meant her reputation as one of the most widely agreed-upon "pretty" or "sexy" girls in H!P. Most other girls in H!P agree, many fans obviously agree by the support she gets at concerts and stuff, and when they do TV appearances and stuff, the hosts often flip out about how pretty she is even though she's so young. I just figure with that kind of following they'd be more eager to make her PBs a little more showy or racy, but the age thing may change or limit that urge.

Am I the only one who's really disappointed with how she grew up? I thought she was going to be absolutely stunning when she grew up because how non-offensive-looking she was as a child compared to the rest of the kids, but she looks really odd now.

Nope, I agree. I do think she can look very pretty, but in a lot of pictures she has this strange confused/sad look on her face that makes her look very odd. In this picture, where she looks all bright and happy, she looks great. In this picture, where she looks like someone just stole her dog, she looks weird. I don't know if they just went way overboard on the blush or if that's her natural complexion, but the over-rosy cheeks make her look weird too. Again, Should I be smiling or crying?, whoa where am I?, I'm not quite committed to this pose.

I agree with Trike here. But that first picture that TnB linked to is actually the sort of face from Risako that I find odd. She's just so weird looking. Every time I see her, I instantly think of the girls who were considered pretty in high school, but when you see her years later there's something off. And then, as AEUG pointed out, you suddenly remember she's 15 and then you're all confused again. If she were 30 years older that she actually is, I'd assume she had work done to her face.

Agreed! Those pictures really show she doesn't know how to model... But she's just so pretty! Luckily, she's no Koharu or Erika to pursue a career as a model so she's safe, I mean, her singing has improved significantly. But I wish she'd lose some weight, fix her hair because it's been looking too dry lately and... Hm, I don't think Asian girls care that much about teeth so that's it.

I swear to all holy that I was thinking the same thing the moment I saw that picture in the first post, but I thought I was just being a picky bastard about it. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':geof:' /> I figured maybe it was just me, because no one in their right mind would let a young, attractive girl do a photoshoot with those toenails, and then on top of all that--select said photo to go into mass production.



I just didn't want to be the first to say it, but them toenails is some tacky lil' bitches if I say so myself.



I agree with the previous statements of Risako being gorgeous but not always using it to her advantage, but that just comes with her being only fifteen. As a woman, I think she'll be more in tune with her body and womanly charm, and thus be able to "work it", so to speak.

When you put it that away, I have to agree! Wow, Risako has really gotten pretty Sometimes I forget how much she looked a little sick/anemic (probably because she reminds me of Erika Sawajiri when she did 1 litre of tears).



And yes! She's only 15, Maki's age when she had her solo debut. Two years until her Gold or some more until her Station era! (or almost ten until Queen Bee ).
