She doesn't look like that in either of these photos, which are leaked personal shots - i.e. how she dresses off-camera. But even if the giant headbow and miniskirt look is her actual personal style and she dresses like that all the time, there are always occasions where certain elements of personal style aren't appropriate. Just like it's generally in inappropriate to wear a lip ring to a job interview or a white dress to someone else's wedding, it's in bad taste to wear a giant bow on your head, a miniskirt, and a healthy dose of white eyeliner to someone's funeral.

Err... you need to go back to your eye doc because contacts aren't supposed to do that. I had a lens that did that once because I didn't screw the lid on tightly enough and tossed it. No need to scratch the eye like that. Unless you're wearing these kind?

Many of the idols wear them and they were probably popularized by Hamasaki. You can buy them online through really sketchy retailers from China if you want. The kids over at soompi go ape shit over them.
I was really intrigued by Circle Lenses until I saw someone wear them in real life. NOT PRETTY. In fact, very very scary!
I never knew circle lenses were bad for your eyes. Heard about 'em and saw them countless times (even though I never knew Tsuji wore them), but I'd never heard anything about their being potentially damaging.
It depends on where you get them. I remember back when color lenses first hit the market some girls were permanently damaging their eyes buying cheap ones from Mexico or Asia. It's better to go to the eye doc and get fitted for lenses and find a reputable dealer (i.e. not a random website) that won't sell knockoffs that could damage your eyes. (note, if yours are sliding when you blink then they're not fitted properly and you need to toss them and if they're painful when you wear them then you need to toss them as well) Also remember to take proper care of your lenses and eyes. But as for the lenses themselves, I agree with eri and PQ, they're scary looking.

Also, regular colored lenses are fine but Circle Lenses are larger than the regular eye iris and sometimes the coloring is so opaque that is covers the entire pupil -- my eye doctor said it messes up your cornea.
They are scary in person but oh so lovely on models in photographs haha.

With the cheap lenses, I was talking more about the lenses you could get from the mall or roadside dealers and the like. They're not approved over here, but she's going to get/has gotten some anyway. She can get her prescription from her eye doc and go to another place to buy the proper lenses for her eyes, which will be better than just getting random ones. I also recommended a reputable dealer so she wouldn't get scammed and/or cheap/harmful lenses. I don't know anything about bowbow, but if she didn't know about the ill fitting lenses and the pain then I assumed she doesn't wear contacts on a daily basis, which I why I said she needs to go to an eye doc first (plus she ask him about them). But hey, I'm overly cautious about this sort of stuff. I actually pay my MD a visit before starting any sort of exercise/diet program. XD

They're kind of strange, but aren't they ideally supposed to be coupled with that eyelid glue that's popular in Asia? I know people primarily use eyelid glue to create a "double eyelid" (which was new terminology for me), but I know there's the added effect of bigger, wider eyes too. So I don't know, I figure circle lenses are for that overall big, anime eye effect, but can't really look right/not freaky unless you make the eye and iris bigger together.

well, I actually do wear regular contacts on a daily basis and I got those from my doctor.
But I got those circles from Hong Kong, which they are insanely cheap. Like 12 dollars for a pair.
And I did try the one day acuve circles (at least I believe they were) It's not that they hurts, but it's just not very comfortable.
I wonder is it because I have single eyelids? but my eyes aren't that small though.
