Dunno if you're completely allergic to rapping of any kind, but if not the first Hwantastic series song, Heart Disease, is incredibly good as well, with a cool video to match. It also features THREE of my favorite artists in Korea: MC Sniper, Outsider and Horan!



The story behind the series is that these are all songs by the apparently legendary Korean singer-songwriter Lee Seung Hwan. It actually... didn't occur to me until now to check out the album that these two singles came from (Hwantastic Friends). Or indeed, to find out more about Lee Seung Hwan. I made a zombie-themed playlist for the sake of Halloween, with an emphasis on unusual tracks and also game stuff. I also tried to alternate between instrumental, serious and comical songs. I added a few barely-zombie things and avoided adding anything obvious (Thriller) or that explicitly references non-zombie horror stuff (again, Thriller). Also, I didn't add Zombie Nation or anything by The Zombies... Too obvious I guess?

They seem to have been active since 2001, but haven't been signed until last year:

Ogre You Asshole is a Japanese rock band formed in Nagano, Japan taking influences from Modest Mouse, Fugazi and Talking Heads.

They were signed to major label VAP in 2009 and have been praised by the notable guitarist Johnny Marr[1].
