Apparently the big musical guest of honor at Anime Expo this year is a J-rock band called Sophia. I've never heard of them.
But it sends me back to a little over a year ago, on Thurs. Feb. 12, 2009, the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, when we first heard that Morning Musume was going to be at Anime Expo. Remember the excitement that generated? We all freaked out and started immediately making plans. I cried and said out loud in my apartment: "I'm going. I'M GOING!"
Just a little nostalgic moment.

I get that you really like MM and don't know who Sophia is, but it's not really necessary to make an entire topic with enormous unrelated photos. So we shall all talk about Sophia instead.
I didn't know they were still around. Maybe they're trying to relive the semi-glory days.
I still remember watching Sophia's PV for Missile back in 2000, when mpg1 videos to VCD or lower specs were common online. My computer at the time was really crappy, a Cyrix 686 @180mhz so I had to close all other programs before I tried to watch anything and it still was blocky and ugly and all that, even for 352x240.
I was watching that video and thinking "Is this video of a chick with epilepsy? Wait, I think she's ... OH GOD"

Sorry for the confusion. I had a flashback moment and got carried away. (Those things happen with greater frequency as one ages, but they don't usually involve something that happened only a year ago.)
