H!P Eggs can audition for 9th gen

It's been announced by Tsunku that H!P Eggs can audition for 9th gen as long as they meet the requirements, 10-17 years old. Which boots Yuu and really sucks.



WHY 10-17 years old?! I don't want a loli fest.



I was rooting for Hirano Tomomi too, the 26 year old egg. Honestly, I feel sorry for the eggs. Most of them have little to no hope of debut. I certainly would be pissed off to be an 18 year old egg at this point and be disqualified after years of training...



Also, I wonder why he made this clarification public. It's so unlike him. Now, what would the 9th gen surprise be?!





I think all these eggs are ugly and most of them are realllllly young.. Man....

Out of all the eggs, I would probably want Sekine Azusa, Saho Akari, & Okai Asuna to be in the group. Even though I like Karin, I feel she's too young and Sayaka's voice sometimes irks me.

I know nothing about these eggs, but I'm hoping we get at least three 9th gen girls and at least one of them comes from this group. Hooopefully it'll be one that can sing so the probable two new faces who can't won't keep the entire gen from getting lines and PV screen time.

Question: How do you people know the Eggs in such detail? Where and how have you heard them sing? I honestly thought they just did background dances at concerts and not much else. I also thought Miyamoto Karin was only popular because she's frequently posted in the H!O image board and people marvel at her tiny tiny-ness.

After all the Elders left they started sticking the Eggs in the HP DVD Magazines. Also, a few like Karin have done movies and dramas.

I've promoted Sayaka Kitahara in the past as a potential new recruit for MM. She was in Milky Way with Koharu and Yuu Kikkawa. She's quite a skilled performer and has great stage presence to boot.

Saho's dancing impressed me when I saw her, but I don't really know anything about dancing. There's something in her though, she's got sort of an attitude/vibe that says "performer".

The Eggs have had full Eggs-only concerts for a few years. I've never actually bothered to watch one, but they released DVDs of some of the concerts for fanclub members or as concert goods. Also, there were some videos of the concerts on DohhhUp before it died.

Seriously though, I don't like the majority of the eggs and I actually watched their concerts. S/mileage and Mano Erina were pretty much the cream of the crop amongst the eggs. Some of them are even too ugly for AKB. Out of the eggs in the first post I would welcome Miyamoto Karin and tolerate Saho Akari, Kitahara Sayaka (if she brings her BFF Yuu) and Kudou Haruka (she looks like a young Risako).



I guess it all depend on the girls that show up for the 9th gen audition. I think Tsunku's choices depend largely on group dynamic and how well they would fit in.
