Miss A - Step Up

A little history lesson first just for those lazy people. Miss A is JYP's second girl group after Wonder Girls, Miss A is comprised of members who are all fluent in Chinese.





Step Up is Miss A's second single, the title track is Breath. Watch the PV here.



Single was released 9/27 and contains 4 songs.

3. Meonghani (멍하니; None)

4. Geu Eumageul Teureojwoyo DJ (그 음악을 틀어줘요 DJ; Play that Music DJ)









I liked their first single, Bad Girls Good Girls better but overall I love them more then Wonder Girls. ;D



This is JYP's dance group and they totally dance the hell out of this song more so then the last single, can't wait to see it live because they are doing a LOT of stuff in that MV. If they can pull it off with live vocals also, that would be incredibly inhumane but totally awesome. D:

Breathe is totally different but I really like it. The "no-oh no-oh" bit is really catchy and the dance is cute and funky.

I really like Miss A, but they really aren't very good vocally live.

Ok, it DID get stuck in my hand (at least the refrain) and I listened to it a few more times, I like their first song better though.

But couldn't they have just added something more to the music ? Anything ? Even if it's just their manager groaning in a Tsunku-ish fashion.



Anybody else thinks the one with the red cap looks annoyed ?



The dance really does fit in the refrain though, it's funny.

Anyway, they're never going to be able to do those moves and sing live without a hiccup.

Finally they performed live, but... it appears to be a lip sync (I think? I can't tell in some parts), though I don't blame them if they did bouncing around like that throughout the whole song.



And the outfits are a big bite me to the media. Patches on the boobs?

It doesn't look as hectic live as it did in the music video (especially the parts that got played faster in the music video), so it definitely can be live imho.

But I'm on my netbook right now and can only watch it in the small video so I can't say for sure if they lipsync or not. Anyway, the ending was shit. =(

Watched the live performance and I could hear them singing live, though there were parts I wasn't sure such as the "I can't breathe" parts and everything from the rap until the end. Speaking of which, I didn't like the ending that much. It was jarring and unnecessary, IMHO.

I think PQ meant they recorded it before and then lipsync'd.

Another live performance and this still it seems more live then lip sync, it's also got a bit of a different dance routine compared to the last live. So check it out!

They utilize the backup dancers in this one.

Yup, that was definitely live. You can even hear the sound of their hands clapping at times.

I liked this performance far better than the first one.

miss A has an app on itunes that features photos, the MV and teasers of the songs on the single. No word on if there will be a pay version, but this is free and it's mighty cool indeed.
