So yeah, 7 versions

The c/w is Coupling A performed by Mobekimasu for the DVD and Regular version.

The other versions have Coupling B performed by the individual groups. (Smooth move, UFA. I probably wouldn't have bought it, but there's a Mano version.)



They're already promoting it with an appearance on PON this morning. This is during the PV filming. You can hear the song.

Two things of note. Look at the leaders in the last shot. Of course, there's the new Musume leader.

Also look at the explanation of the name Mobekimasu with pictures at :25 of the video. Yep, look at S/mileage.

Getting every member of Mobekimasu in the same room at the same time can't be the easiest of tasks. They have to film the PV sometime. And clearly they already recorded it. I think it's not very good to try to do everything for the single in October when it would be released in November. (Especially since if they're starting to promote it now, they may be doing a huge push for it.)

So, this Mobekimasu grouping, is this going to be a regular thing, now? Depending on sales, surely, but is this shot at a giant supergroup UFA's way of playing up on the AKB48 concept? (Seriously, even though mixing the the topics tends to open a can of worms... )

You opened the can of worms by even mentioning it you know? What it comes down to is this, H!P did it first, 48 did it better, it's that simple.

Because when H!P does it again now after48, it will always be compared to 48 because no one can seem to remember H!P doing it first.

H!P has always been a super group. The groups all performed concerts together, and had their shuffles. They released that super big All For One and One For All single and then the concept died as far as musical singles are concerned, they still do their concerts, big group get togethers where they sing in a big large group. It wasn't till last year that UFA finally gave them a proper name besides just calling them Hello!Project.



This song is a big fail, but then again they were only looping the part where Reina and Risako sang and of course that'll be a big pile of fail. It keeps sounding like they are saying Buono. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... R#>/8o.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8o' />



Oh and a big note on the group shot, they have all of S/mileage in the PV so I guess that means they aren't going anywhere at least until this single comes out?

I think the song could be ok. You can really only hear minimal amounts of the instrumental, they filtered it to let the newscaster voices speak loudly over it.

No choice, they have to learn it in time, plus some of the new girls of MM & definitely S/mileage will need extra practice. Not to mention the media appearances (which are probably prerecorded way ahead of time) promoting the 50 versions of this CD before the release.

I love Risa's new hair colour, it looks nice on her. I wonder why Riho is slouching, it looks so weird especially since she's in-between to tall girls. I'm also not used to the 8nin Musume. C-ute is now the smallest group, (I don't count Mano considering she is a soloist.) I like 9nin8nin S/Mileage, Im used to it already.

No, that's not it. I'm not even much of an AKB fan other than liking a few of their songs but while H!P has been a supergroup idol umbrella for a much longer time, there have only been a handful of other occasions where they've released things as a conglomerate rather than the individual groups. But, now that there's a hugely popular super super supergroup (in a family of supergroups) as the flagship rather than the conglomerate, (and what with that rather butthurt bitchrantmoan article from not long ago about how Tsunku thought of the theater idea first etc.), perhaps capitalising more on a larger group seems more appealing than it had in the past. Perhaps this Bekimasu, Mobekimasu activity is to test the waters for future possibilities as a dominant concept in H!P?

Reina, change your hairstyle. I'm sick of looking at it. Risa, for the sake of your last inklings of a career, stop making duckface! Look at the mirror and practice any expression but that look! Without Ai they're missing a "super hot" factor. But none of the girls added will be old enough for that, so farewell hot momusu.



I like Cute's photo the most out of the groups. All the girls look good and aren't making any sort of weird faces.



Mano looks the best. That hat is cute and I'm loving that expression on her face.





Momoko, I'm gonna tell you this girl to girl: Get rid of the pigtails. Older girls can pull of pigtails so long as they're placed low, but you're hair is too short and it looks ridiculous. Get yourself another cute hairstyle. Hell, if you want the loli look then do that ponytail thing idols do with short hair. God damn Maasa got the short end of the photographic stick. That hairstyle is not flattering. That outfit is not flattering. It's like they purposefully try to make her look bad. Actually, Berryz' outfits aren't flattering on any of them.



Smileage's is my second favorite group shot. Everyone has nice...smiles. I like the holding hands and such that implies that they actually care as a group rather than each trying to out pose the other.

The costumes are your standard concert getup especially since the big puffy dresses seem to be rip away. I don't know if I'm going to buy. I'm still kinda bitter that they haven't gone through with the shuffle group singles.

The more I look at the group Morning Musume photo, the more it looks like they photoshopped in Aika. Which can't be true because there isn't a person alive on the H!P design department skilled enough to photoshop around that mesh black stuff. They must have just cut into her knee wrong on the erase tool or something.





I love Maasa, but she's turning into the Hitomi/Kago of Berryz. Either the girl is stressed beyond belief or she just doesn't care. But that isn't a flattering pose for her.



Also they'll need to think of a better hairstyle for Meimi, It was cute the first time, but it seems like they are doing it in every photoshoot ever.

So,

I really dislike the costumes here and in the video clip. H!P All Stars was cute because everyone had some variation of a school uniform and it was 95% age appropriate (minus Nakazawa, who still rocked it). They look like some suburban junior cheer squad league in those metallic get ups. They couldn't be creative enough so they just color coded them by group? And in the other number, they look like waitresses at the Pinocchio food court at Disneyland.



I know they can't return to uniforms now that AKB has laid claim to that, but damn.

Mama is really the only girl who is average looking, by both American and Japanese standards I believe, so they're probably clueless.
