The "Aisha Loan de" video was included on the DVD of Yuko's graduation concert "Live Revolution 21".

What's the first thing you do when you return home after a concert?

As many times as I've watched that DVD, did I ever find that video on it? It sounds vaguely familiar. I must check when I get home.
BTW, since I asked this in the Buono thread and no one answered, I might as well ask it here.
Is that a live rock band accompanying Buono on their album, "We Are Buono"?
If so, is it the same all-woman band that appears with them in their "Live 2009 Hybrid Punch" concert?
Thanks.

Offhand, I would have to say no, but I don't have the CD to verify it. Anyone who does have it, there should be musician credits in they back if they did use them, but vocals and instrumentals are generally recorded completely separate from one another.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
Listening to some old Petit Best albums recently, I was struck by how great a singer Michiyo Heike is. (Can't explain why it took me so long to find out.) To make matters better, I found three of her singles in Book Off this past week.
Now I want her full-length albums. I found one available on CDJapan: Koimizuki, on which her credit is simply Michiyo. It was released 2/28/05. The description says it was her second album, but there is no other CD album in the listings for either Michiyo or Michiyo Heike.
Does anyone know anything about the first album, e.g. title, release date, label? And if it's available anywhere?
Thanks.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
In the past sometimes there were numbers posted how much each H!P member's photos were sold in the last 12 months.
I haven't seen any since JunJun/LinLin joined, aren't they releasing the sales numbers anymore ?

Just for curiosity sake, Does anyone know what Hawaiian Island Morning Musume travels to when they do concerts and Alo Hello DVDs and stuff. I've always wanted to know, but I've looked all over and not been able to find it. Or do they like travel between them?
Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
I know Morning Musume has a fanclub tour at the end of the month in Oahu and Eri's last photobook was shot there and past fan club events have been there but I don't know if they go to any of the other islands and I don't feel like researching it much.
This is a place where a signature goes. Enjoy some Airi instead.

What's the deal with these fanclub tours? I guess the wotas suckers fans have to pay large sums of money for the privilige and UFA get a freebie at the hotel for the girls plus a cut of the profits because of the trade they bring in. Of course I appreciate that profit is the last thing on UFAs mind, it's all about giving something back to the loyal fans (I am glad I was writing that as I could never have said it and kept a straight face).
Anybody know how much it costs?

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
On the "Kimagure Princess" Single V, there's about 20 minutes of "Making of" footage. We see that the video was shot at a rather large Christian church on a warm, sunny day. (Possibly the first H!P video "making of" footage I've seen where the girls don't have to wear coats between takes.) It doesn't look like they're in Japan. Did they find a church on an American military base in Okinawa?
Does anyone know where they shot this video? What church and what locale?
Thanks.

According to Hello!SayuNii, the church is La Foresta di Magnifica. Actually, it looks like a wedding hall but I'm not sure where. They have a website with the address but I can't read it. http://www.lfdm.jp/

I don't know the names specifically, but I've seen several wedding chapels like that in both Kobe and Fukuoka, specifically around bays and places with nice ocean views. You might try sticking those city names in with the search.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
Another question, but still about the "Kimagure Princess" video.
I've counted five different versions of the KP PV. Is this a record of some sort? I seem to remember four versions of "Resonant Blue," the most I'd seen up to then. Or are there other singles with five versions or others with even more?
I tried to do a blog entry on all five versions and I thought I'd figured out a way to embed the video from YouTube in my LiveJournal page. I took the "embed" code from the YouTube page and pasted it into the "embed media" field on the LiveJournal page. But when I pressed "submit," it wouldn't work. The message that appeared said something like "bad unicode." So it never went through and I gave up. Is there any other option for including videos in LiveJournal, aside from just pasting links?

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
Madara, I usually just paste the embed code in the middle of the entry (I use the HTML tab to write the entry). Livejournal codes just tend to disappear when I edit in Semagic that entry but if I don't, it works just fine.
By the way, I put the link Pecking Duck provided in my Google Translator and the address I got was this one:

Well, no matter what I did, I couldn't get my latest blog entry, with six embedded videos, to load up on my high-tech office Mac, yet when I tried it at home on my ancient PC, it went up without a problem. And the video screens with images are all there. Of course, if I try to actually play any of the videos, my internet connection crashes. Can anyone go to my blog and make a test to see if the videos play fine for you?
Thanks.

They are playing fine, although I didn't listen everyone to the end. The problem could be on the images throughout page so it could give you errors even if you have a good internet speed.

Thanks for checking. And I wasn't aware I had 180 pix up on one page. I have to see if LJ has a way to break it up into more pages. OR, I'll just alternate more text-heavy entries with ones with (fewer) pix.

1. Wow, I was just in Tsuchiura the other day since it's the closest "big" city to me, and I wandered around aimlessly for three hours. It's only three train stops away from where I live, so I'll have to check out the chapel one day.
2. Some PVs have a whole ton of versions since they have Solo versions for each member. But if you're just counting all those as one, then I'm not sure which has the most.

You can use lj-cuts after the first picture (See here how to use them) so that when viewing the main page of your livejournal, it'll only show the first picture and then you can click to "read more".

Wow, that worked! I just went back and added "Read More" links to every blog entry from the last 7 months that had lots of pictures. Makes the whole thing so much easier to load now. Thank you so much!

Madara, I know some blogging services liek Blogger and LJ have auto-pagination -- inother words, once a page becomes too big in kilobyte-size, it won't display properly. Now that you know how to use LJ cuts, you'll be fine.
Also, you can add text to your LJ cut like so...
[codebox]<lj-cut text="type some witty text about Sayumi here">[/codebox]
While I have no argument with your description of the "Sexy Night" video, there are levels of awesomeness that far exceed it and one of the highest levels of such is occupied by W and just about everything they did. I put it to you that "Samishii Nettaigyou" is on that highest of levels, both the video and their rendition of the song, which was nice enough when Wink performed it, but even better when W did it. Sorry, but I must defend the extraordinary achievements of two of the most unique entertainers in human history from naysayers who simply don't recognize greatness when put before them in such a tidy and petite package. Fie on you. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/hmph.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':popper:' />
As you so-well poked fun at in that last bit, you definitely have a particular bias towards W <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':popper:' /> Not to mention, as you said a while back, their cover version was the first version you heard of Samishii Nettaigyou. You listened to it and enjoyed it quite a few times before ever trying out the original. In that, it's just human nature that your mind is going to interpret theirs as the "right" version. This happens anytime that someone hears a cover from one of their fave artists, and then later goes back and checks out the original. It's very rare that someone will like the original as much, especially in the first few listens.
For me, in the case of the aforementioned song, it's the other way around. I had been listening to Wink's version of the song, fairly regularly, for close to two decades before the W cover came out. It would take a godsend for me to like the cover better, in that situation. And while I like the W cover, I wasn't a huge fan of the arrangement. There were other covers on that album that I liked quite a bit more, and overall I really loved the album. Even despite having heard the original songs like a million times each beforehand, haha. But meh, I never expect covers to top the originals. I just love hearing a new take on a classic by an artist I love.

This has probably been answered ages ago, but i'll ask anyway, does Berryz 1st single sample from Mandy Moore's 'In My Pocket'? The riff, after YEARS of wondering where i'd heard it before, snapped today.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
In Buono's Live Hybrid Punch 2009 concert, there's a funny backstage sequence midway through the concert where they order pizza. I finally found a subtitled version of that segment on YouTube and they make a reference to "3 cute girls" in a Pizza-La commercial. So, did Buono star in a commercial for that pizza place?

What's the first thing you do when you return home after a concert?

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
Relative to my confusion on the S/mileage thread over the difference between S/mileage's first single, "aMa no Jaku" and their new "debut" single, I have a similar question about Erina Mano's two concert DVDs.
The first is titled Debut Concert “Prolog - Otome no Inori”, while the second is titled Erina Mano First Concert Tour “Introduction ~Hajimete no Kandou~”
If she already did a concert tour for her "Debut Concert," then why is the second one titled "First Concert Tour Introduction"? Haven't we already been "introduced" to her? Why is it not called Second Concert Tour?
Thanks.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
The second DVD is her first tour as she performed Nagoya as well. It's kind of silly since "Prolog" was Tokyo and Osaka and since "Introduction" only had two more shows. I guess going to Osaka doesn't count as a tour.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
Prologue was a rather short concert while Introduction had a more decent setlist for a concert. You can also think of of a book; the prologue gave us a hint of what Mano can do, and then a few months later for Introduction, she comes back with more song material and shows that this is Erina Mano. Prologue could be her spring concert and Introduction is her autumn.
