They are not placed by birthdate. It's actually Yamaga Kanae the oldest ( 1995.5.15).

In the eggs, it doesn't go by age but by years of experience. Rie is the oldest member since she joined in 2008 (with Akari and Mizuki). So that sorta makes her the leader.

Tsunku did a blog post of the Eggs, and if you scroll all the way down the last two are the new girls. Only now you can actually see what they look like.



Still can't get over how adorable Ayano and Natsumi are.

I think I like Sakura. At first I wasn't sure about her face, but she looks pretty nice in the recent pictures and she sounded surprisingly good (for a new person) in "Ooki Hitomi." I guess that's why they are using her so much in the egg concerts.

No Mogi. Not ever. While that picture is nice, her smile still is weird to me though. She shows too much of her gums.

Also part of it is her personality that was shown at the auditions is still how I view her since that's the only footage we have of her, and I have nothing else to base my opinion of her on.

Anyway, Mogi was only 11 when she auditioned for 9th gen, so she's probably more mature now. We'll have to wait and see.
