There are two numbers on the DVD that are not on the CD:

14. Loving you Too Much

15. Kanashiki Heaven

Who recorded them?

You should really join YouTube and subscribe to all Hello!Project and Up-Front channels. It would be oh so very helpful to you in the long run I think?

[/quote]

Yeah, I should do that. I miss a lot of good stuff. I do have a YouTube account. Are there any links to the H!P and Up-Front channels?

Thanks.

It's hard to watch this stuff in my office because my computer can be seen by anyone entering the office or passing in the hallway.

I may have to wait till I retire to start keeping track of them all. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... wheely.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wheely:' />

Well I usually just listen to the youtube channels with the window minimized. I dunno if you can listen to the music at your office, but you can at least hear the songs that way, and check over to look at song names and what not.

Haha yeah I mean obviously you can watch it at home but if you have an hours a day office job like me it's pretty easy to catch up on at least the music by listening to it here.

Okay, I waited till my officemate left for the day and then closed the office door. I played one video (Take a Chance) on the MM Channel and then it wouldn't play any more videos, giving me the message:

"The Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback. Get the latest Flash Player."

I tried the Up Front Channel, watched the latest S/mileage video and then tried to play another and got the same message.

Now, this is a new computer, a brand new Mac installed about three weeks ago, so you'd think the geniuses who installed everything on it would have given me the latest Flash Player.

Anyway, so I clicked on the thing to install the latest Flash Player and I get a page that says this:

Thank you. Your download will start immediately and may take a few minutes to complete.

And then nothing...nothing...nothing. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... adwall.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':headwall:' />

This is why I prefer physical media and a DVD player. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... dammit.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':dammit:' />

I have a year-old computer at home, a PC, and I have no idea what the result will be when I try it there. I'll report back. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... cepalm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Well, I'm at home now and able to view them without a problem. I still get a message:

Upgrade to the latest Flash Player for improved playback performance. Upgrade now or more info.
But it doesn't interfere with my playing the videos.

I just watched "Cat's Eye," a very nice update of a J-pop classic, with some rap added, although I think I would have limited it to three performers, like the original, and just used these three: Maimi, Nacky and the Captain.

And now I've got a S/mileage PV running from when Yuuka was still in the group, the one where they're in the red uniforms. (Big problem with these channels is the lack of English, so I can't I.D. the song titles. I have to cross-check on Generasia or something.)

P.S. I just watched MM's "Wakuteka Take a Chance" again and was gonna come back here to ask how to find the dance shot version, when I found it myself! It's awesome! Is it just me or are MM's PVs getting better and better with the new girls? I love the song too and can't wait to see it in concert.

I just subscribed to a bunch of the channels. I am gonna save so much money on DVDs this way. Thanks y'all!

Just caught up with C-ute, Mano, and S/mileage's 2012 releases through their YouTube channels last night as a kind of a yearly wrap-up of all the stuff I missed throughout the year. Fortunately I didn't really miss much except for Mano's Doki Doki Baby easily being one of the 3 best H!P songs this year. Her stuff had been lukewarm-to-bad since early 2011, then all of a sudden they just came out with a can of whoop-ass for that single. And unfortunately, its her second to last one ever :(

Its kinda convenient for me to have these fairly organized on YouTube so I don't have to download so much of it and waste my bandwidth and ratio on something that there's a decent chance I won't care for.

And of course, any of Gramps' (Madara's) insights and observations are always welcome and sorely missed in our community!

SEE!

I totally said that Doki Doki baby is awesome and the average H!P hater or someone like AEUG would be turned into a mano fan by it.

You know when she had the chance to appear on a tv show with Nakai-kun...

SHE SANG THE OTHER A-SIDE.... Image

Which is a relatively hard to sing ballad and Mano sucks at singing live.

I literally did this when I realized she wasn't going to be performing doki doki baby with 100 crazy people in cosplay behind her Image

Now you've got me subscribing to Mano's channel also, so I just watched that PV. Nice one. A lot of location shooting, plus a budget for costumes and makeup!

But I like Mano's new one, "Next My Self," much better. (Posted on her channel 19 hours ago! Am I finally in the loop or what?) It may be the best new song she's had in, like, three years. I like her new look, too, with the short hair giving her a more mature air (at the age of 21, it's about time). She sounds better than ever also, and moves with more confidence. There's definitely a Maki Goto vibe to the song, a good thing in my book. Maki would certainly have been given this song once upon a time.

Oh, and welcome to my YouTube thread! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/cool.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

P.S. I just watched the "Renai Hunter" PV and realized I'd never seen it before!

Haha, I've been a huge Mano fan since the beginning, just don't like the direction she started going in early 2011. Her first 10 singles or so was some of the best material released in the 2008-2010 period from H!P in my opinion, along with S/mileage's first couple singles.

I definitely plan on watching this song when I get home, everyone seems to be talking about it in some way or another, and I owe it to her as a former huge fan, to see her send-off :(

I love it all. I sought out the Dance Shot version and watched that too. I love how the new girls have totally reshaped MM and given it amazing new energy. Riho and Ayumi are fantastic.

I know a young guy who did that crab move when he posed for photos on a class trip to China last June (he went right after the Berryz event in New Jersey). He showed us the pix at a Wota party and one of the girls said, "You're crabbing at the Great Wall of China! You Renai Hunter'd at Tianenmen Square!" Then he showed us his high school graduation video and he does that move onstage when he goes to get his diploma. Pricless. And it's only at a Wota party that he'd find an audience of fans who actually know what he's doing. I wish I had pix of him doing that. This is the guy who met Berryz backstage in both Seattle and New Jersey and has got Miyabi's name tattooed on his arm.

About not being able to read them,

If your on a channel like MoMusu or Berryz, when you're in their uploaded videos, click playlist. Scroll until you find the one that says Music Video. The videos are in reverse order. You can save them as a new playlist on your channel then reverse the order and put them on loop if you don't want to take time switching songs.

That probably didn't hep much, but thats what i do.

I will randomly do the crab move in my house. My husband recognizes it. Sometimes I want it to be as widespread as the Gagnam Style stuff.

I think that's pretty awesome that he did the crab at all of those places!
