I can see how that might be the case from the point of view of someone who doesn't listen to them much. It'd be like saying all Perfume songs sound the same, or all Orange Caramel songs sound the same. To say that of "Kimi Sae Ireba nani mo Iranai" seems particularly off base, though, even from that perspective.

It was disappointing, but at least they gave The Matenrou Show an additional PV with graduated members + Reina & Sayumi.



I like Kimi Sae much more than Bresto, I forgot how it sounds, but I guess "just mix Wakuteka with HELP ME!!" No, I really forgot how it sounds.



There's a really interesting part of Kimi Sae starting around 50 seconds where the buzzing synth travels around your head if you're listening with headphones.



I'm glad that they figured out another way to quickly give the girls lines other than the rotating "oh no you di'nt" (sing 4 syllables and pass it to the next girl) thing they did in Wakuteka & Bresto. Now the new thing is 2 military rows, but too bad the voices are so digital that you can't actually hear each member. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hahaha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':hahaha:' />



That stupid TWO THOUSAND PEOPLE ON THE DANCE FLOOR is probably the main reason why this song is sticking so much. I really like the part that leads up to the chorus too.

They did that in Pepper Keibu too. It was the best Sayumi and Koharu have ever sounded, but of course they weren't concerned back then with giving anyone but Ai and Reina lines so not too sure why they bothered.

I think it's that they just have the same sound and style to them, because when I listen to the actual songs they sound different to me too, but they have the same techno-y style.

You know when I listen to punk music it all sounds the same, that's because I only listen to each band for about 30 seconds and even then I'm not really listening.



Anyone who thinks MM's last few songs sound the same either needs their ears checking or they just aren't bothering to actually listen to the songs.



They have a similar theme granted, but the songs themselves are quite different.

I went ahead and put it in my video playlist (Kimi sae) and it grew on me to the point that I like it more than Breasto, simply because of that one part in Breasto that reminded me of Wakuteka keeps making me think I'm listening to Wakuteka for a brief moment and it's annoying.

Aside from being cheap, I think they got too hung up on showing that crazy dance they're so proud of in the Kimi Sae PV. Even just more of the closer angles would have made it more interesting, but OH NO THEN YOU CAN'T SEE THE FORMATION!!

I got that vibe too. Lol. I really like the MV for Kimi sae. Every time I watch it I totally see what Tsunku was saying its hard to tell who is the new member. Sakura fits in so well. She has such a calm, confident and mature persona. She's one of my favorites now. + I use 2002-2004 and 2009-present to work out to. One.Two.Three help me shed a few pounds.lol.

Ironically, we just ordered Lim A and D last night because we also wanted to get some stuff from CD Japan sale before it ran out, lol...



We picked them based on the DVD version and the B-side and covers wouldn't have affected the choice, but Lim C and E look like the only ones with some potential. But then, my judgement based on low-res covers was wrong almost every time with previous singles, so I'll hold a little hope until then.



Still they all look very disappointingly same-shit-like from what we got so far.

Well, Risa and Takahashi's were almost just final farewells since they will probably never actually make a full return to music outside of showing up at concerts and maybe dinner events. Since Reina is just moving from Morning Musume to a band where she's obviously going to be heavily featured they didn't feel the need to do that.
