2014 Prediction Thread

You know how it goes! What do you predict/want to see, and not want to see happen in 2014?
 
 
Predict:

-MM 12th Gen, either another audition or they add some eggs. Either way, but they better add them this year to keep the fluidity of the group member changes.
-Berryz gets more bad songs
-MM sells over 250k in the first week
-C-ute keeps on doing the same thing, gets some good some and some meh ones
-All singles are now Double A
 
Want:
-MM 12th gen
-Anime tie-in, involing Kenshuusei, younger MM members, and JJ
-Berryz gets a good song
-MM sells over 500k in the first week
-Kenshuusei debutees
-MM Mechaike School special like the old ones (and giving them new families!)
 
Don't Want:
-No MM 12th gen
-Someone leaving JJ again
 
 
I really just want a 12th gen already guys.

I predict more music will be made, and I will like it.  
 
Also I want a photobook from Shimizu Saki that is all loli outfits similar to Rock Erotic, she seems like the perfect model for that look.

Sakura joined in September of 2012. Granted her first single wasn't until January of 2013, but she's already been in the group over a year. If they added girls by audition this year we probably wouldn't even see them till the end of the year, so that's like 2 years between them.

Morning Musume
12 Gen auditions happen. We get 3 new girls. One is an Egg.
Sayumi finally graduates in the Fall. Announces it in the Spring concert.
Mizuki become leader.
Kanon announces graduation in the Fall concert.
They still will not get invited to Kohaku.
They drop the year title in the name at the end of the year.
 
C-ute
They finally get a hit.
 
Berryz Koubou
Momoko continues to be annoying. Keeps stupid hair.
Risako announces graduation.
 
S/mileage
Nothing big happens.
 
Juice=Juice
Someone else leaves Juice = Juice.
Auditions happen just like S/mileage but, without the sub member thing.
 
Hello! Project
Another Egg group is created.
We get a new soloist.
Bitter & Sweet joins Hello! Project.
 
What I Want
Shuffle units revival
Anime unit(s)
The MoBeKiSuJ cover of Watashi ga Obasan ni Natte mo from last year as a single (fat chance)
 
What I Don't Want
Nothing I really don't want. Just want to see how the year goes.

• MM 12th generation with three girls. (One H!P Egg, Cuca, one unknown girl from the auditions.)
• Sayumi stays this year and announces graduation at the end of the year.
• Berryz gets a really good song that brings them a lot more popularity.
• Berryz gets more publicity and opportunities to show their personalities. (AKA they break away from Momochi's character.)
• C-ute stays pretty much the same.
• S/mileage continues with the grown up image.
• Juice=Juice gains a new member via the H!P Eggs.
• New H!P Egg group.

 
Wants:

• Cuca in Morning Musume 12th generation. (Yes, I'm still going to wish for this.)
• Momochi to turns back into Momoko like she has in recent singles.
• A legit Kanon^2 duo. (Please please please)

Am I the only one who forgot about Cuca?
 
-Nanami debuts
-Take-chan lead song
-Zukki gains popularity
-Amazing Berryz song
-More amazing Musume songs

Predictions:
 
- MM has another good year, but not the fantastic breakout year that many are hoping for
- 12th generation that includes Funaki Musubu and Inaba Manaka
- Another Kenshuusei group, a larger one with Nanami and Rikako as the centers.
- Zukki gains popularity and becomes the first celebrity of the newer generation girls
- Berryz and S/mileage stay the same, popularity-wise
- C-ute has a breakout year, starts appearing on bigger TV shows
 
Hopes:
 
- A decent TV show for H!P with variety and comedy elements

My only predictions are Sayumi announcing her graduation at the end of the year and that we won't get any debuts this year. If they do another kenshuusei group, I think it will be early next year.

Summer H!P (or other H!P group) Arena Concert!
JuicyJuice releases some cover songs. (Because I don't want Smileage to be the only group to have that privilege of defiling some classics.)
Someone graduates and it isn't Sayumi. :x 
H!P gets a new soloist? (lol yeah no.)
Legit for realz 12th gen audition nabs some winners.
 
We should do a prediction on how many girls are going to be in this new H!P unit made up of the trainees. My guess is 8 because UF and Tsunku seem to like to start at that number and it usually dwindles down after that to a more suitable stable number or 4-6.

MaiMai turns 18 and keeps getting awesomer and awesomer.

Prediction:
• No changes to MM for the entire calender year: no auditions, no graduations. UpFront will see how far this group can go for all of 2014, then announce Sayu's graduation late in the year or early in 2015.
• New Buono! song, not necessarily a single.
• New H!P soloist.
• More overseas appearances than ever (hello France, LA, Seattle, etc.)
 
Bold Assed Predictions:
• Berryz is mothballed or broken up and Momoko gets a new gig within H!P, one that is not a solo gig.
• Sayashi Riho solo single.

[Pucchi-Mo]

In 2014...
 

• No regular auditions, but they'll stick someone random in a main group/switch people around (to the fans' horror)
• USA gets a visit from MM and at least 1 other act. France gets something better.
• Sayumi stays put.
• Masaki gets groomed for graduation, where she will be in a new project that Tsunku has in the works.
• There will be another hilarious scandal. 
• S/mileage's roster will change again.
• Tsuji gets pregnant again. 
• Kago's new girl group will see a decent amount of success.
• Takui writes songs for someone in H!P, and or LoVendoR
• There will be another group featuring OG members, but it will be smaller than Dream Musume.
• Each of the MKB girls will make some type of media appearance at some point throughout the year.
• A summer shuffle-like release. It won't include everyone, 2005 style.
• Even more classic songs will be butchered.
• New soloist girl.
• Morning Musume has at least 1 single that goes against their signature electronic sound.
• Tsunku does something in the vein of the Because Happiness/Shiawase no Tochuu combo song, but even more amazing.
• The lead singer of BaseBallBear will have some involvement with an H!P release.
• We will hear from Maki again...

This is my prediction. Buono I love you....
 
Momo would be like Charmy on H!P new comedy show. (and there's my hope.)

[Haru]

- Berryz suddenly blows everyone out of the water
- Momusu surprises everyone with a ballad
- Sayu announces graduation at the end of 2014
- Tsunku announces 12th Gen for 2015, but calls it the 13th Gen since he already did 12th auditions.
- H!P egg releases more singles
- Up Up Girls continue to be awesome yet indie
- A decent show that doesnt involve farming

To be honest, hell will freeze over three times before this happens. If they gave a plethora of lines to Riho back when she was really bad, they're definitely going to keep giving them to her now that she's gotten better.
 
My predictions (a lot have been echoed already):
 
- Sayu will graduate at the end of the year or close to it. As much as she's loved, idols do have an "expiration date" of sorts. Unless you're Seiko Matsuda.
- MM will definitely get better at singing.
- After Akari's well received Osaka Koi no Uta, UFP will give her a little bit more lines in Ju=Ju songs.
- Karin will grow something resembling a personality.
- The other kenshuusei units that Tsunku promised forever ago will finally happen and H!P fans will definitely know the cute that is Ayano Hamaura.
- Zukki gains more popularity. After that random joke (about herself, no less) in the Dokkiri special, it seems she turned a lot of heads her way. Even Al's, just a bit.
- Berryz has some sort of change. They've been in limbo for a fear years now, between Momoko's character, and the rather obvious lack of unity between them.

It's not an H!P song without Tsunku grunting in the backround!
 
Although MM does do most of their harmonies on the tracks. It's usually Sayu, Riho, and sometimes Masaki.
