OK I finally got a chance to watch both videos.  This single is pretty much perfect, and I am also happy about the amount of Kana.  <3  She's too freaking cute I can't even.  Eighteen Emotion kind of feels like S/mileage going back to their style which makes me happy.

This is the first time Itagaki has done an a-side for S/mileage but he did the arrangement for Suki-chan as well as a number of other album songs and b-sides for S/mileage.

They'll be performing Yattaruchan and Mystery Night next week on Music Japan. With that, all the groups sans-MM have been invited back after long absences from the show.

Debuted at #6 on the first day. #3 sold 4,024. It's Golden Week so everything was in stores a day early and their first day total doesn't include preorders or event copies sold.

I haven't been able to follow Hello! Project as much. So how much has this single sold as of right now?

Today it was at #2 with 16,238. Its only the second day. Or really the 'first' day since today is official release day.

Thats pretty good. They sold about 11,000 in two days in the last single. I want this single to do well so S/mileage does well, but at the same time I don't since I don't particularly like either A-side.

I wish this single and MM's had switched release dates.  5 consecutive #1's in a row is nice, but I feel like S/mileage can really use a confidence boost.  Imagine what being the only other HP group to obtain a weekly #1 would do for these girls.
