Unlike last Hinafest. They got wardrobe changes. (I had to go back and look at Madara's review of the Hinafest to remind myself. xD) See Madara, you're reviews are good for something. ;D
 
I approve of this stage much better. While the little ride was interesting last year, it confined the girls to a move box and they couldn't do what they do best. Run around and interact with the audience. I like this type of stage much better. I hope the summer H!P concert will let them go into a bigger venue. After seeing footage of the De-Ha/ GOiSU concert, they look much too cramped. They need to spread out more. With so many girls on stage now, it's getting crazy. Especially when you add in the Trainees!

I have no idea if it's an edit or if they actually wore them, but I love it anyway. Kanon looks about as impressed as I'd be if I had to wear the pigtails.

Edit: I feel that I should mention that I have been repeatedly listening to this. The emotion she puts into her singing, especially this song, is something that I feel newer members are lacking. She nailed this performance, without a doubt. Better than the original in my opinion.

Love & Peace Everday sounded really quite nice; Everyone getting a solo line was just perfect and gave a great feel to the song. Along with that, the amount of Riho I got during the performance made her sound really, really good to me. Is it just me or did she grow into her voice even more since the last concert? And they changed up the "a-i-shi-te-ru" in One, Two, Three from the usual and Kanon got an "a" <33
 
For some reason, Juice=Juice felt a little boring to me... Not sure if it's because I feel they don't have a large stage presence what, how they sing, the lighting, what. Really not quite sure. I think for some reason they didn't feel into the performance, sans Sayubee.
 
S/mileage is amazing. Takeuchi crying whens he found about about Budokan, then not being bale to sing because she's happily crying.... The girls back her up and Kanon even cut her line short to tell her to keep it up. Meimei showed some more of her star power. Was scared Take's boobs were gonna fall out (spoiler: they didn't).

True about J=J doesn't have much stage presence. They are not good performers. A good performer needs a good package of eye contact (with the audience), eye expressions, body languages. In other words, their whole body must converse with the audience. Most of them have neither of these qualities, really. ( I may be biased, but I think Sayuki did quite well. Not excellent though. But really, her voice has gotten so much better, in Samidare I almost didn't notice Karin's line, it's like the whole song belongs to Sayuki) I used to think highly of Tomoko, but sadly she is not much of a star on stage.

J=J needs some lessons from C-ute on werking the stage.  
 
I feel like J=J is best modeling in magazines.

I can't watch those videos right now, but Sayuki and Karin are both amazing performers in general, imo. Tomoko can be great, but she's a lot less consistent. But she has also has a lot less experience, so that's expected. Anyway, they're all pretty inexperienced compared to the other groups. You can't expect them to have the consistency of C-ute right away. They weren't always as good as they are now.

Karin's eyes are expressionless so she will never be an enjoyable performer to me. And in this concert, she looks somehow distracted. And her voice too high. But I am always displeased with Karin so....
 
Meimi, Akari et al. were amazing performers even before they became official members. J=J is making .... slow progress.

When watching the De-Ha shuffles, Akari was the worst expression-wise to me. But Yuka wasn't very noticeable in hers so I can't say I got an equally good look at them all.

I finally watched the videos. Karin wasn't as great as she normally is during Hadaka no Kiss, but she made up for it during Samidare. She's one of the few performers who is so fun to watch that I'd want to buy a solo angle DVD of theirs. I hope they have those during their live house tour, but I doubt it.


I heard Miyabi cracking a few times. :( Her natural range is fairly low, so it's always been hard for her to sing higher songs, but she's been having a lot of trouble lately.


I really Koiseyo. It's from the Best album, isn't it?


Airi always sounds really out of breath during Crazy Kanzen na Otona. It's not a big deal, just something I've noticed.
