Surprisingly, I actually like the Princess Margaret song. I hate Masaki's voice but it's a fun song. Meimi absolutely blew me away, wish there were more moments for Kanon to shine though.

Final Osaka show just ended. At the last curtain call, all members and the staff came out to take their bows before retiring in a wave of applause. Lily and Snow (Riho and Ayacho) come back out bearing a single flower (lilium) and place it in the middle of the stage, before departing in silence. Just thinking about it leaves my heart in shattered splinters on the ground.
 
This has been the best stage production I've had the privilege of watching. I'm glad I went to watch it for myself. I don't think the DVD will be able to convincingly capture the atmosphere of actually being there (that said, the DVD cannot come out soon enough for me), and I sincerely hope that the producer will consider a sequel. I would go to watch it again if that were the case. To the girls: otsukaresama deshita. The end of the dream has come, and it's time to awaken in the world of reality...

I went to Osaka to watch all three shows.
It was wonderful ! The best ever ever (*°∀°)=3
 
The plot and singing and acting were all amaz-ing !
I bought the CD, the photo sets and the daily photos !
I even wore a matching dress to fit the theme ~ヾ(＾∇＾)

Sounds like the obsession I have with STACYS. I'm hoping this one won't steal the spotlight in my mind because Reina starred in STACYS and I love Reina to death, but I have a feeling that LILIUM will take its place as my favorite.

Having been the one to sub Stacys, I've watched it over 40 times (probably more) and have memorized all the major lines plus all the songs. I can safely say that while Stacys "big" songs like Saisatsu Butai and Shoujo Saisatsu have more of an immediate punch to them, the Lilium OST overall has a higher quality -- and it has the ability to haunt you. Furthermore, I've watched bits of Trump, the related musical, and they reuse the same haunting BGM (or in one case, took the theme song of Trump and turned it into a BGM), which just enhances the trauma for people who have watched both. I was traumatized already before I knew what Trump was about, then I watched parts of it and read some reviews, after which the trauma level just increased exponentially. I'm debating with myself whether to plunge 50 bucks down for the Trump DVD so I know exactly what's going on (or just buy secondhand for half the price, probably).
 
I've also been following the reviews via twitter (helpfully retweeted by some of the fans who seem to be stalking even harder than I am), and several non-H!P fans have been completely impressed by not only the producer Suemitsu's script, but also the fact that the girls were able to bring the script to life and perform so well in both the acting and the singing. We've probably received a bunch of converts to the dark side (of idol fandom, muahaha) thanks to the musical.
 
I can safely say Lilium is the best thing to come out of H!P stage plays in a while, and their stage plays have been improving as a whole in the last couple years. I really hope they keep working with Suemitsu because I love his work u_u And Etsuko-sensei, their vocal instructor for the musical, seem to be working magic with the girls (Kananan! I could only see Camellia, not her real self, in her role!). I'm sure they'll carry this experience back to their usual profession as singers, which can only be a good thing :D
 
 
EDIT: I lost my mind and spent that 50 bucks for the Trump dvd. I figured it'd give me something else to obsess over while I'm waiting for Lilium to be released. Anyone wants to sub it? It gives critical background info for Lilium. XD

They're streaming the Peacepit version of Trump, which is the prequel to Lilium. I strongly recommend watching it to prep yourself for Lilium. I'm definitely watching it because I need to know certain details ;_; The version I bought was the D2 stage, but had this still been on sale I would have bought the Peacepit one (mostly because I think they acted better...the D2 boys are prettier though XD).
 
It goes live at 22:00 JST today. Which is in....a little more than an hour o_o So catch it if you can!
 
EDIT: It's over. I'm too wrung out for tears. The horror....the connection between the two...I'm seriously traumatized now...I'm going to have to sub Trump too...

So the OST is being released to the public on 8/26 and according to HMV, the album is going to include two new songs "Himitsu no Hana ga Hokorobu" & "Seikon ~Stigma~" and a new version of "Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani?"
 
And it's a CD+DVD release.

The DVD is the musical, so it might be wiser for those who were already planning to buy the OST to hold off and just buy the CD+DVD set since you get the two previously unreleased songs (and trust me, they are worth it) plus the musical to boot.
 
The main changes to "Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani" are mostly in the instrumental breakdown (the original OST had a shortened version of the one in the musical), as well as some of the harmonies. No other news thus far, but Suemitsu promises more updates, so I'm just going to wait and see before I pre-order anything.

Yeah, it sucks, I already preordered the OST when it was announced and if I knew the DVD and OST were going to be released together I would have waited.  CDJapan has already processed the order so I can't change it...

I just watched it. It is my most favorite thing ever. Ever. As soon as my semester is over and I don't have to worry about gas money for a few weeks I am ordering the DVD/OST and keeping it as my most treasured possession. I think I'm going to re-watch it now.

The play is just as good, if not better, than the soundtrack. Everyone, including Masaki, of all people, sound GREAT live. I'm only halfway through, but it's been amazing.

I haven't seen all of it yet, but I'm happy with the singing so far. Meimi and Sakura are the only ones that sound great to me, but everybody sounds much better than they usually do. Aside from a few poorly delivered lines, nobody sounds bad overall. The acting is, of course, a bit on the goofy/unprofessional side (I think it's supposed to be), but for what they are, I think most of them did a really good job. I was probably most impressed with Ayumi, Meimi, and Haruka (and the other girls with bigger roles like Dawa and Riho), but everybody seemed fine to me, except for Masaki and maybe Rina (probably why they had the smallest parts, aside from the KSS). I haven't seen it all, though, so I might change my mind about all this, lol. 
 
I love the music, too. My favorite song is Gensou Genwaku Innocence.

I've seen it last night. It's beautiful and terrifying. I only understood about half of it, and the point was clearly made. Once I get the subbed version, I don't think I'll be fine. I barely made it through the first time.
 
Everybody's acting was spot on. Meimi hands down had one of the hardest parts and she pulled it off perfectly. Ayumi was hilarious, Riho's acting was spot on and the new songs were amazing.

I saw Lilium with French subs, what an amazing musical!! *o* The songs and the scenario are wonderful, I prefer it rather than Stacy even though I really loved Stacy too! Haruka was so class xD I recommend absolutely this musical, we can see clearly the improvements of all of the girls, they become real and accomplished artists ^^
