Berryz Kobo announces indefinite hiatus in 2015

That's the way to go...although I'll be in school so people will get to listen to me whine and cry about a group going on hiatus and they wont even understand why its a big deal.

^ H!P won't be the same for me either. They were the group who introduced me to H!P and the idol world. I'll save the majority of my whining and crying for the day they leave. Since they're "leaving" and apparently "not graduating" I hope that when they do graduate C-ute will graduate with them because I think it would be "nice" for H!P Kids to graduate together.

Berryz Koubou has announced that its final group activity will be a concert at the Nippon Budokan on March 3, 2015.


On August 2, Berryz Koubou announced that it will be going on indefinite hiatus starting in the spring of 2015. During a release event for the group's final single "Romance wo Katatte / Towa no Uta", the group revealed the date of its final group activity.


Leading up to the start of the group's indefinite hiatus, Berryz Koubou will be releasing a best-of album titled "Kanjuku Berryz Koubou The Final Completion Box" on January 21. In the days before the group's final live show at the Nippon Budokan, the group will hold series of farewell concerts starting on February 28.


March 3 was chosen as Berryz Koubou's final day before going on hiatus because of the date's significance to the group. On March 3, 2004, the group released its debut single "Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai", marking the group's official debut. March 3, 2015 marks the end of the group's 11 years together.


After going on indefinite hiatus, the members of Berryz Koubou will be pursuing their personal dreams that they were never able to do as members of an idol group. Chinami Tokunaga has stated that she will study to become a sea lion trainer will start school for it on March 4, 2015. Other members, such as Maasa Sudo, will be pursuing acting and modeling careers.

Someone said in the video they seemed kind of surprised because the question came out of nowhere. But Maasa has been interested in acting for awhile, so I don't doubt that's her actual plan.
