It might be kinda early for this since it comes out in more than 2 months.  ANGERME is releasing their first single (or S/mileage's 18th). Tsunku isn't writing it, Nakajima Takui is so it'll have potential to be good.

Which one is the first of the 3rd Gen? Mizuki? She's quite gorgeous. I've seemed to mix up Mizuki and Maho in these, but they are both gorgeous.

For some odd reason she reminds me of Saki.

There's a trainee called Nomura Minami who would probably remind you of Saki way more than Mizuki.

Mizuki reminds me more of Junjun than anyone else, actually. I wouldn't say she's a clone, but she really looks like her from some angles.

Ooh. I like it. Murota's high note at the end of her line is a little ugly, though. She's a pretty good singer, but I really dislike how screechy/shouty she can be. Maybe she'd sound better if she didn't dance so hard, lol. But this song is awesome.

I usually don't listen to concert rips because they aren't always the best quality, but I LOVE this song just based on this rip. Its already stuck in my head. It reminds me a lot of anime openings in a way and I look forward to seeing it performed or getting to hear the higher quality radio rip.

Agreed with this. She sounds like she has gotten better since last year's Kenshuusei festival thing. She was super shouty in Memory Seishun no Hikari. Her solo reminded me of Sayuki's lines in almost all the Juice=Juice songs. The end just doesn't match the rest of the solo.   Both songs are great, though! Surprised there are not more solos in Taiki Bansei, though.

From someone who was at the last three concerts:


'Otome no Gyakushuu has solo lines for everyone except Maho and Sasaki as far as I can see, it looks like in the really operatic bits Kananan is doing the low parts. The main feature of the dance is a vampiric clawing towards the audience, and if they go the same direction with the CM as the VTR is should have scariness in it. Maho's solo ballet bit is very good as well.'

I'm hearing a bit of Earth, Wind, and Fire in the intro and interlude of Taiki Bansei. Overall I like both songs and they're just what the group needs to get everyone pumped over the 3rd gen and the new name.

I love Taiki Bansei a lot more after watching the performance :) They put on a great performance and looked like they had a lot of fun doing so :)
 
This is a solid single and I hope the MV's match up to the songs :) With this single I definitely see AMGERME desperately from S/mileage :)
