The fact that Sayu and Eri both seem to have no plans of returning to show business makes me so sad. I want them to be happy, obviously, but damn what a waste LOL.

Same, no idol has come close to filling the void for me.

I'm really grateful they were my first generation to see from beginning to the end though.

For me, it was 8th Gen and I even met all three of them. At the rate things are going, though, it could be 9th Gen as well before long.

I like how the before photo doesn't show even moderately bad acne and then the after is all brightly lit and photoshopped lol.

Also proactiv is garbage. I'm still bitter I ever spent money on it.

Is this an entirely new deal? Because something about it seemed very familiar, and I went on to find something on Wota in Translation about her using Proactiv nearly two years ago, which many responders thought sounded like stealth marketing.

It is new. A lot of Proactiv's success in the west has been attributed to the big celebrity endorsements. I'm guessing it's a much smaller brand in Japan since they're using Haruka and also because I read like 2/3 of their sales is in the US and I assume Europe is their 2nd target market.

She's also not promoting the entire line. Just one of the face washes.

"All 52 girls get to talk about 4 characters idioms they like.
Also, the preface is the publication of the dialogue between Momoko and a teacher in Linguistic about an unique choice (not sure about this part) of 4 characters idioms."

I'm wavering about getting it. It may be interesting but I'm afraid it would still be too difficult for me.

Actually they release Maruwakari books at all H!P tours (this one being released late compared to the others), with "interviews" of each girls. I'm pretty sure they changed questions through the years but they may run out of questions now so it seems like a good theme.

EDIT : actually the "regular" one for Winter tour has been released in January.

Does anyone know why MaiMai's voice has gotten so bad? Over the past 2 years it's really been deteriorating... She was never great, but she could at least hold a note. I haven't heard any times about her throat getting injured. Has anyone ever heard of an entertainer just getting bad at such a young age? =/

Arco, thank you for responding (and in spades!) It explains a lot... I figured it had somewhat to do with the technique they taught her/are making her use. It's just a shame because it's one thing that she could be bad or even not good--but she's TERRIBLE.

A lot of it comes from singing with her larynx too high, that's a big part of what causes it to tire out so quickly and also what causes it to crack so often.
