I think (I could be wrong) they decided to call it "Gradation" because Mizuki is graduating high school and Haruka and...Maachan?? are graduating middle school. I'm probably wrong about the details, but I think the girls graduating school is why its called that...

It refers to a series of changes, the meaning. It can so refer to a gradual change in color, which is possibly what they're going for. Who knows how they came up with it. I had to look up what it meant when the name was announced.

I thought it was because a gradation is a subtle, gradual change in colors, and this is a sort of slow change in MM from the full on "colorful era" to what it is now. The line-up has changed slightly, but nothing too drastic. Sort of like the first steps to a new "color." But altogether still keeping in a theme of colors :3

Yeah.... And Sakura and Maa-chan on Memory no Hikari? Daaaaammmmnnnn... And then I always love SONGS, so that's a plus. So glad to have a concert where the great songs outweigh the not so great or at least overused.

I'm dying for a Kanon/Sakura duet but I've learned not to expect nice things for Kanonat this point. I just hope Masaki uses her big girl voice.

I'm sooo happy with the all the old songs :) but only 5 of the 14 colorful era singles are out of the setlist,
I'd love to see less of the other 9 songs and more of the past singles and albums, Ikkimashoi! maybe? It's fun and you don't even need to be a good singer, ideal for this line-up

Miki's verse is in English, yesss.</blockquote>Besides Miki's long line, I have NO idea what she said. But 9th & 11th gen are pretty strong vocally (even Erina improved a ton!), but 10th gen.. Holy smokes. They almost sounded as bad as 12th! I didn't realize Akane was the best vocally of her generation though. She seems to be getting the least amount of push.


Masaki and Sakura really did a decent job with Memory Seishun, imo, too. Wish Masaki stuck with the voice she started with. Sakura needs to sing that song solo.
