[2016.??.??] Hello!Project Hina Fest 2016

She seems to sound fine, but it's definitely lacking something. I'd still rather have her singing this song instead of the other soloists.

Okay, Sayuki sounds good, but that song feels seriously weird without the backing harmonies. A bit ... bland.

Sayuki sounds great, but like others say it's still definitely off. Not really anything she could do about that, though. But I laughed, it sounds like the fans are trying to do the "oohs" for her almost. Unless my mind is just placing them there because without them it sounds weird/the instrumental has a similar note.

Yeah, I mean first of all how the hell have I not heard this before (THANKS MEIKOCHI!!!!)? Second of all...she sounds great, as I expected, but yeah it sounds weird as a solo.

WTF is trugraanful... that name oh my gooood. I like AAAa, though. Also, 6 Pack pretty much is named after Yajima. 
 
Here's how Hama said it went down:
 
Ishida and Kudo went up to Yajima and asked "What about 6 pack?" and made a weird gesture at her, while grinning widely. All members are ones who have good stomachs when they have costumes that show, so they finalized the name.

Apparently, these were the songs Tsubaki Factory would have chosen for the groups if they could have choose it for them.

But the staff (or the girls ?) decided to not follow it so here is the "real" selection (from today's events) :

trugranful : Renai Sentai Shitsu Ranger

AAAa : Koi wo Shichaimashita!


I enjoy Renai Sentai so I'm happy with trugranful choice (but seriously, the idea behind the name (ie, to play on the meaning of the kanji in their names and combine them) was nice but it doesn't sound good at all in english...)

I'm a bit desappointed with AAAa choice, this song doesn't showcast the vocal ability of this group. But well, it's still a nice song.

Omg I guess I wasn't even paying attention... this is some real bullshit Q_Q I wanted to see AAAa's Chokotto. That seriously would've been one of the best performances of the year. I'm sure of it after seeing their Koi wo Shichaimashita. 
 
Also, I feel like I so often forget how much of a classic H!P spirit Fukuhime has. It's hard to tell when you see what she gets stuck doing. But seeing her perform at Hina!Fest twice now really makes me remember.

Harunan didn't do too bad with her line... very pleased with her. And you get a SLIGHT glimpse at 12th gen singing.

Seconding that Harunan didn't do bad at all. But in Ijiwaru, I wished Erina's lines would have been sung by Duu, she would have been so much better.


Sakura did great in both songs and she gave me feels of Aichan's coolness in the HDYLYJ (her side glimpses, her gesture and at some points, her voice as well), which I like a lot. Mizupon did also great in both and I like Maachan's voice here (even if she cracked a bit during HDYLJ). This song is also one of the very few in which Ayumi's voice roughly fit, in my opinion.


About 12kies, Miki did well in both (there's nothing special about her voice to me but she doesn't do any mistakes so she's still pleasing to hear) and Maria's first line in HDYLJ totally fitted in (her 2nd line not really though ; but her line in Ijiwaru wasn't bad either so I'm still happy with her improvement). On the other hand, Ogata seems uneasy on the stage to me (maybe because her dancing is still akward.. and maybe her facial expressions as well) and I'm not sure what to think about Akane, other than she looks like a big baby.

I was at the MM Premium concert on Sat. & the Angerme & Kobushi Factory Premium on Sun. So much good stuff to report, but I'll wait till I get back and I don't have to type with a friggin' stylus anymore.

Thank you, I would have never thought to check The Girls Live, lol... Ayaka did so much better than I was expecting. She's really improved over the years. Her facial expressions were so strong too. Angerme has done high energy/rock/strong songs, but not so much "mature" like Take Off Is Now. Sayuki's was really nice as well... It felt better than her birthday event ver.
 
I think it's cute that they had TRANGFUL (or whatever) coordinate the solo's outfits... (Even if Rena's really didn't suit her. Something new is refreshing every now and then.)

I feel like only a few people check it regurlarly now.


I was especially impressed by Dawa facial expressions and the classy aura she had. Her singing wasn't great but she sure improved a lot through the years.

Sayuki did really well but to me some of the backing vocals were still missing.

I don't know how to explain it but I felt Mizupon's performance had a rrally different aura from the 3 others. I'm not sure if it's linked with her song or herself.


I thought Trugranful did well at everyone coordinate ! Was simple but still way better than what is usually chosen in this corner. Maybe they had a "better" shop to choose from.

I was planning on doing a blog entry on this concert but decided to wait till I could order the DVDs. Well they arrived today, so now I will have images to illustrate my first-hand report, since I couldn't take pix at the concerts myself. I'll let you know when it's up.
 
P.S. Okay, I knew when I ordered that the Angerme/Kobushi Factory Premium concert, one of the two I attended, is included as an extra on the C-ute Premium concert, which I didn't attend, BUT I just checked the disc and it's a shortened version, only 52 minutes! What a rip-off. I'm pissed since that entire concert was filled with great stuff. In fact the disc opens with Rena Ogawa's solo, which came midway through the show.

The Angerme/Juice/Country Girls and Kobushi premiums were all just extra stuff. A lot of the stuff was repeat concert, so they just took all the stuff that wasn't and threw it on as extra. Musume and C-ute are bigger draws for people to buy compared the other groups.
