This may be a bit premature, but the concert will be starting tomorrow. Goods are already out. This is the debut of the 3 new kenshuusei members as well as CG within their new groups. Debut may also include Momohime & Kurumi, but nothing has been stated. Angerme member Maho, TF member Kiki, and KF member Rena are out for a majority of the tour due to medical conditions.

Interesting choices, but it seems quite fun. Bummed over the lack of information on Kiyono/Takase and Ichioka's group, though I expected the latter, that's going to take some time.

Digital release from J=J, eh? They probably want something by the 7 of them as soon as possible, and a physical release might take more time (a second song, MV, etc). Kinda wished for an MM single announcement.

Probably, but digital singles don't sell well and don't get promoted so it seems like it'd be smarter to just wait and give it a physical release. Especially since JJ don't really do much outside of their shows.

True. That's why I'm somewhat critical of digital songs, too. It's fun for random stuff like the Upcoming stuff, but kinda weird for the main groups. I don't think I've ever listened to J=J's other digital release outside of concert performances.

It'll probably the company's mental rationale if they don't release any more physical material this year. If they're wasting their time with digital releases I can see 7nin not actually getting a regular single until 2018.

JJ just released single last month, so they probably just wanted to get something out with the 7 of them asap because JJ only does like 2 releases a year now :(

I really do miss the frequent releases and yearly albums...

And in 2015 they only released ONE single. Something that could very likely happen this year to them and Angerme unless they manage to fit them in super late this year.

I really liked it. I had a hard time distinguishing Nanami vocally in the group. Really looking forward to Sayuki and Ruru power house voices singing together. Ruru really impressed me with her delivery of the first line. I KNOW she is good, but I definitely wasn't expect them to utilize her like that first thing!

I'm pretty so-so about Fiesta=Fiesta. It's not bad and I like it more than Feel!, but eh. It's a solid album song. Glad it's not a physical release.

If you're gonna have a vocal powerhouse group, might as well make it seriously the most powerhouse it can be.</blockquote>Right?! I want some duets a la Takahashi/Tanaka or something along the lines of Atsuko/Ruru. Sayuki, Tomoko, and now Ruru is just a winning line-up. Akari is getting there too. She's gotten pretty good the last couple years.

Outside of Little Glee Monster, is there an stronger vocal idol group than J=J in Japan now? That's a serious question, btw, for those who follow the scene more closely than I do.

Probably not. It's not really an in demand concept. No one ever gets popular from being vocal powerhouses, as you can see from both groups. LGM has had far more success with it, but they're also a lot better than JJ are. JJ are still traditional idols so their vocals don't make up for the areas they're lacking in. And H!P's tendency to lean towards the low budget.
