Also she is not graduating from H!P so she may do some events like other OGs and stay quite active like Yurina and Maasa. Only for her japanese fans though.

C-ute's was about 10 months out. I can't remember for Berryz. Don't think they has quite as much time.


I'm glad they're giving a year before she leaves. Everyone knew it was coming. There is still a chance Haruna and Yuka could announce their graduations being before Ayaka. Yuka just turned 24 recently.

We knew about Berryz 7 months in advance.

I agree I feel it is more emotionnal during a concert but it may also be the girls' choices.

Ayacho said until 2 years ago she thought she would be there forever, no problem to go on even at 30. Then she looked at the group last year and thought she may hinder them to evolve again and that is when she began to think about graduation. She said her ideal before was to stay forever but she realized life is different from dreams and she had take it into account. She talked a lot with her manager and she decided when was the right time. She does not talk much about her work at home so she only told her mother a few days ago.

I knew it would come eventually so I'm more shocked that it's finally happening more than it being announced. It'll be interesting to see how the group will be when the original S/mileage members are gone. Are they going to add another gen to take her place like they've been doing everytime someone does leave or are they just keep going until it's back to the standard 9 like they've wanted the group to be before the Country Girls shakeup?

I think it was speculation based on how they would add another member right after when Kanon and Meimi left.
