Karin's last in Juice, Yume and Riai's debut. If you don't count the "new vocal version" of Hitori de.

 

Also, b-sides make a comeback! Borderline and VA-VA-VOOM will be featured as b-sides on different editions.
A new version of Tsuzuiteiku Story will also be on this single, I guess as a fixed b-side. It's called "Tsuzuiteiku Story (Symphonic Version feat. Karin)".

They should've just thrown on Platonic Planet on there since Karin is leaving and I think she was one of the more prominent members in that one...(these tour songs that don't get released are sometimes frustrating).

Releasing a cover of a barely one-month-old song seems stupid, but if we get the killer funk arrangement that's sleeping inside of it, no one will care. There are a lot of ways they could go with this that would sound good, tbh, so I hope they don't drop the ball and just ape the laid-back disco of the original.

Don't think it will be any better than the original. This must have been some sort of collab-type situation if they're covering it so soon after release. Also even the original overly uses "pop" to the point of annoyance lmao.
 
At least they're releasing decent b-sides. I really like va-va-voom soooo.

I mean it's not much different from them letting C-ute and Angerme sing Nakajima Takui's songs, except his version was released later. They've done this with a few older H!P songs too.

Yeah, it's probably more that the company tried out the song with both of them and ended up liking both versions.

Having listened to Kan’s version, I feel like Juice could bring some much needed life to the song. It’s so, dead? He created a good song but he doesn’t execute it very well. Looking forward to see how they funk it up!

For a song in line of Bitansan and Hitori de it really doesn't sound like the other two. It's a whole different feeling.

I would have rather they cover something like Ken Hirai's Pop Star lmaooo... but it's not a new song or someone H!P has collabed with before so... but my point is I'm not feeling this Pop Music cover.

You forgot the "Pop Muzik" hard intro. I'm not as disappointed as TicTac, but I am disappointed. This is pretty close to the original which is just such a throw-away.

It's the KAN-version, but KAN did put up a deconstruction version of the first 20 seconds on his website.
 
The first bass line made me think of Seinfield lol. A part of the strings reminds me of Abba's Gimme Gimme Gimme, too.
