Before Saki graduated they started with all this bullshit shortest skirt idol group stuff, I fukin hated that from the beginning, that's not what H!P should be aiming towards!



And well I think Saki and Yuuka probably didn't like the idea of it either, Saki is a little more independent than Yuuka but I honestly think that ever since Saki decided to go, Yuuka was just waiting for the right moment too.



I was about to type "time to drop this mini skirt nonsense" but suddenly realized Al would be all over that sentence!!



Seriously though, I wish they would forget all this mini skirt stuff.

Also they've been doing that since basically day one. They may not have talked about it as much, but they have always worn short skirts. Pretty much ever since Kanon's joke comment about how S/mileage had better legs than SNSD, they've really promoted the short skirt thing. If girls wanted to leave because they were pissed about that, they waited a long time to do it.

At first they just wore what I would call a normal mini skirt, but this year it started to get shorter and shorter and I personally became uncomfortable with it and maybe they did too.... I dunno maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill.

If you watch one of the more recent Hello! Pro Time episodes about the sub-members going full-time, she seemed visibly displeased by the entire thing. I got a very bitchy "I'm over this" vibe from her that I could have never imagined seeing in my wildest dreams.

She must not trust Tsunku. Looking at it from her perspective I wouldn't be very happy, either. I'd be afraid that Tsunku would just throw me in the background in favor of the new girls and never give me any lines. It would also definitely be a hard thing to accept as a previously main staple of the group(though I'm aware that with only 3 or 4 members she would have stuck out individually regardless).

It's a non-issue until her actual graduation event. UFA has pretty much pushed her to the back during all the recent promotion and TV shows. On the up-side, it looks like Kanyon is getting a big push and she's now appearing on shows by herself.

I have to say, I thought it utterly bizarre that a thread about an event THAT HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED yet got closed, as I was 100% sure it would be brought back closer to her graduation date, blogs, videos etc. etc.



Whether she's being pushed to the back or being asked to be at the back we can't say.



It's a shame she isn't more willing to live the life of an idol, but I think I always sensed she wasn't REALLY into the idea.

It's not just UFA, Japan in general thinks it's an awesome pun to be used to death. For English speakers it's just confusing. It took me a long time to connect that it a play on her nickname and I kept thinking of Karin too. XD

Well, her nickname is Yuukarin. "See you-karin" has the same number of syllables as "see you again" so it makes a better pun. I think it's only us foreigners who immediately think of Karin, as our brains are wired to see "You" as the actual word instead of an alternate spelling of "yuu."

The release event for this single is on 1/6. Which is after Yuuka leaves. And the first H!P concert is on 1/2. So yeah, basically Yuuka is getting nothing but a photobook? Which is probably the equivalent of Saki getting just the release event send off?

I am going to miss her : ( What I can understand is her wanting to be just a student. I am in college and trust me my senior year applying and taking exams was hard.



I was under a production company that had a special partnership with my secondary school and my work with the company made schoolwork a little harder to mangage.



I did it but still it's hard even with the medium volume of work I did.
