There's a section about this on Wikipedia, but the only English-language source is from Tokyohive. But I also think this will be eventually picked up by the mainstream press (or sports press at least, I don't know how much exposure the players get in actual mainstream).

But I can see where the hate is coming from. I mourn the neatness and general goodness of Continental. And I would have loved to fly ANA or JAL's 787 to Japan last year but they were at least 200 euro per person more than other acceptable options and common sense prevailed. [/spoiler2]

 Yoshitake Tanaka was Country Musume's original producer. Read the wiki and you'll get a better understanding. Tsunku stepped in as main producer when Rika joined.
