They're not usually my favorite, but I think they fit her face and personality so well... And they sure do help her stand out. :)

For me, Murotan just has that "it" factor. Yes, she is pretty and sings well but that's not what I mean. Idk, she has a spark and a shine to her and her energy always draws my eye. She pretty much became my favorite in the group from her first single, bumping Meimi down a peg.


Rikako may not have the best voice, although it's certainly not a bad one, but she also has a spunk to her that makes it impossible not to notice her in MVs.


I honestly don't notice Maho as much but she's cute and doesn't have a horrible voice so she's got that going for her in my book.


All in all I love the 3rd gen. It was an instant love and I'm not sure that any other group has had a generation fit in so perfectly and be a great asset right from the get go.

Murotan's had that it factor from the very beginning. She was basically top dog in the kenshuusei right along with Ayano. It's surprising to me that she didn't debut sooner or get in when she auditioned for S/mileage.
 
Maho's more popular than I expected. I've seen people saying they've gone to events and she actually has more glowsticks than Rikako. Neither one of them is really top tier like Murotan is, though (and I'd like to see them both put a bit more oomph in their vocal delivery. Not necessarily in technique, but like in energy). She's brought far more to the table than the other two have, imo, and I think without her 3rd gen wouldn't have been so well received. It's been a long time since we've gotten someone who was so ready to go and good at everything from the start.

It's true that Murotan is top knotch. Honestly, once C-ute leaves, she'll be my #1 H!P member. Currently she's #4 but it's a pretty tight race. Murotan is just effortlessly an idol. She puts so much into it and yet it seems effortless somehow. I don't pay attention to the kenshuusei honestly so I first discovered her when they introduced Angerme but she just represents the best of what an idol should and can be.

I like all the 3ki a lot. Murotan is the most talented out of the bunch. Maho has an interesting personality and she has interesting blog posts from what I've seen of them. While Rikako isn't the most talented of the 3, she does have a spark to her and she always seems like she's putting her all into performances.

I love 3ki too!  And maho is definitely growing on me and I love her hair and I am not biased in any way whatsoever.  I can't say they're my top three but now that Meimi left all three are in my top five...

ANGERME 3ki might be the best generation in H!P for a long time. None of them is a horrible singer, none of them is boring, they're all catchy and interesting in their own way.
 
I have a super soft spot for Maho. She's probably my 3rd fave in the group behind Kana and Takechan.

Why has there been no H!P Sports Festival in ten years? Surely the current membership of H!P is awash in young athletes. Just look at Erina and her acrobatics. What's stopping them from reviving this tradition?

My best guess is that since H!P's public popularity is low, there's no way to get such a program out there like they used be to able to with HaroMoni.

Another question. I watched the MM concert from last December, "Prism," and I'm wondering if Riho had simply burned out. She was, after all, the ace for quite a few years, starting at a young age and maybe it all got to be too much. I miss her terribly, but if she was unhappy or overworked, I'd hate for her to have stayed and gotten unhappier or more stressed. I remember various rumors circulating about the reasons for her graduation, but was any conclusive reason ever determined?

No conclusive or concrete reason was ever determined nor given, but... I do think it was obvious to many, many people that she was burned out and stressed. There was no official statement, but one only needed to see how miserable she seemed during her last few months to see the answer right on her face.
 
But, indeed, all reasons, mental-health-wise, for her graduation are all rumors and conjecture. The official statement, from what I remember, is that she wanted to study abroad to learn English (which she is currently doing) and then focus on her dancing afterwards.
