Wow, they mashed up 3 Berryz songs and then put a guitar and drums over it.... I'm not mad about that though lmao

They don’t own the rights to the other song so they probably aren’t allowed to sell it.

Both of their Trolls songs are covers, aren't they? I don't see why they'd have the rights to sell one and not the other. I'm sure it'll pop up eventually.
Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
<div>BTW, my thoughts on the covers is that they are pretty good over all.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Lim A: My favorite. Some of the poses are awkward, but nothing so bad, and the cool background graphic tricks my eye into perceiving the photo being taken from a more interesting angle than it is.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Lim B: Eh, it's been done a thousand times, but the photos are all really nice, so I'm good with it.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Reg A: Like the Lim B for J=J's "Bitansan / Potsurito" single, this should've been awesome, but for the opposite reason: the poses here kill it. They look so awkward and uncomfortable, and it's too bad, because the concept and layout are both great.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Reg B: Nothing special, but it's fine. The girls look natural for the most part.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Special: Cool layout and graphics, but the simple text is a bit too simple for me.</div>

Geez, I can't get into Saori's singing. It's so whiny.
And also could that camera person not shake the camera that much? I'm getting dizzy.

Not gonna lie, I actually really dig the whole shoujou rock thing this song has going on. I hope it's not the last we see of it.
Something different for Fuwari would be nice, though, for sake of contrast.

I enjoyed the song a lot but I do like Nakajima Takui and Kodama Ameko songs. The effects in the music video were kind of weird though and I’m curious about the other song.

Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
Ugh I loooove those drawn out notes just before/towards the end of the chorus. And the repeating parts.... Kodama Ameko makes some of my favorite songs. This topic is kind of an interesting thing to follow, too... this whole "will we, won't we" of a third date. And Kodama has this really great balance between super-simple words/lyrics (a la Tsunku) and some more "full" words/lyrics. I find H!P songs within the past few years have just been overloaded with these really long words and difficult lyrics, so it's always refreshing to see these simpler lyrics, too. And of course I'm a sucker for Takui as well..... So I was bound to like this song.
The song still gives me a very Berryz/C-ute feel to it, just with a guitar and drums put overtop. Outfits are okay, they look a little ill-fitted/unflattering. I like the choreo, though. And surprisingly enough the MV effects and angles don't bother me.

I really enjoyed the song, which reminded me another one (especially the chorus) but I can't pu my finger on it. Might be Berrikyuu as you said TicTac. So TF continue to have greats songs in my book while I don't (can't) enjoy their singing, that's really too bad. I found Saorin's "Nee shitteru" nice though. Also, am I the only one who found Yumeno's haircut unflattering for her face ?

I like it! And it's nice to see a balanced distribution in between the girls.

Sankaime honestly left no impression on me whatsoever, so I'm happy to say that I LOVE Fuwari. It's beautiful.

Very lovely. Another winner for Tsubaki. Musically, it reminds me of "Bokura ga Ikiru My Asia."

I liked Sankaime a fair amount but I like Fuwari Koi Tokei way more. It’s a beautiful mv and a good song as well. I’m interested in seeing how well this sells.

Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
Fuwari strikes me more as a non-H!P song, something more similar to Otsuka Ai's works. Which isn't a bad thing, just that it doesn't seem very H!P. The music video and styling was really pretty though! Love they did the typical "spring" curled hair on most all the girls.
Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
Fuwari is probably one of the prettiest songs I've heard in all of H!P and I love it so much. The aquarium/butterfly theming in the visual effects was amazing as well.

I like songs like this with a traditional Japanese sound!

Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
"Sankaime no Date Shinwa" grabbed me right away, and I expect it to grow on me a lot. It's so Japanese. There are motifs, chord progressions and melodies here that could be recorded differently and fit seamlessly next to Jpop of any era dating back to the 60s.
"Fuwari, Koi Tokei" reminds me of the era of H!P immediately following the Golden Era. This is also very Japanese, but in a more classic way with the prominent use of the Japanese pentatonic scale throughout. It's a beautiful song, and a gorgeous video. I really love this.
This is a great single. Not as smash-me-in-the-balls great as Shuukatsu Sensation/Waratte, but the charm of that one was pure whimsy. This one is more mature with way more depth.

Re: [2019.02.27] Tsubaki Factory - Fuwari, Koi Tokei / Sankaime no Date Shinwa
The single released a bit over a week ago and it ended up selling pretty decently. On the Oricon Chart, their weekly rank was #2 and it sold ~62,000 copies. On Billboard Japan it sold ~67,000. And even if I don't like the first a-side as much, I'm glad it's doing well and Tsubaki Factory is consistently selling well.
