Morning Musume going to Europe

Morning Musume has announced that they will attend this year's Japan Expo in Paris, France. This will be their first time performing in Europe.



Japan Expo is taking place on July 1-4. Morning Musume will perform a concert on July 2, and they will also participate in a panel and autograph session. In addition, the expo's theme song will be "Tomo," the coupling song from Morning Musume's next single "Seishun Collection" (on sale June 9).

I third Morning Musume coming to New York Anime Convention. If they came to New York I might actually be able to go. Instead I'll just cry that their 2nd concert in the west is too far away for me to go to. One of these days I really have to get a job. XD

I think France has pretty high Japanese tourist rates out of the entire continent.

Oh wait! According to JTM, 2,390,000 was the amount of Japanese tourists in 2009. (which was a 3.7% decrease)

The next closest were Spain[851,429] and Germany[963,568]



It still doesn't explain just why Japan loves France so much...

In a few years, I'm sure they'll spread to the rest of the continent. If they go that far, they might as well.

By the way, H&A toured in several European cities last year.

In fact, this month they'll be in Berlin, Helsinki, London & Paris.
