From the performance they did awhile back. Some reporter asks Kaori what it's like being in an idol group now that she's a mother, and while she looks like she might cry for a moment she handles it gracefully. That's still so heartbreaking, though. Do a little research, please.

I think this sounds good for Dream Morning Musume because more of these girls sound better on a more "choral" style. That's what makes songs like Sexy Boy sound so awkward for them.
This one is my favorite of all the previews so far. Nacchi's voice is beautiful on her solo. I wish they'd had a few more solos mixed in throughout the song just for variety, but otherwise it's a good fit for these girls.

Since CD 2 is just original recordings, I didn't bother and only downloaded CD 1.
I went straight to Roman, since it's my favorite of all the CD 1 songs. It's got a lot of Yossie, Mari (who still sounds like crap), and I think Makoto.
Atto Odoroku Mirai ga Yattekuru! is the other new song, and it's light and airy. I like it, and it's got some solo lines for everyone. I finally hear Koharu here.
As for Aozora ga really long title, if you like the original, you'll like this one.
Since CD 2 is just original recordings, I didn't bother and only downloaded CD 1.

Overall this album was pretty disappointing. The original songs were all great, and well suited to these girls. I'm including Afternoon Coffee when I say original songs, since it was different enough to sound very new to me. Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari was cute, but the song is so repetative that the 500 versions have worn it out for me.
The covers were just poorly chosen. Why is Yuko in Mikan? She sounds completely out of place. Yossi/Mari/Mako would have fit better. Why is the epic ballad Ame no Furanai mostly sung by the weakest/not meant for ballad voices instead of, say Kei/Kaori/Nacchi/Yuko? Why is Roman filled with Yossi? She already was a lead on the original, so what's the point of the cover? And why does Mari sound like ass throughout the entire album? They may as well have put the robo-Sayu filter on her. I would have also liked to hear more changes to the instrumentals, but then again the changes they made to Morning Coffee were pretty bad.
If they do another album, I hope they fill it with original songs. And please don't throw in a completely pointless best-of CD.

Yossi was a lead in the essence of the single and PV, however, she really only had the intro speech and "IMEEJI de kimaru yo" as solo lines in the original.
Listen to the single again, the bulk of Roman~MY DEAR BOY~ was Miki & Takahashi, sprinkled with some Rika -that sounds kind of sexy. Anyway, Yossi leading this new version was probably the most logical move of the album. Plus, it's cool how they included Nacchi, since this was the 1st single after she graduated.

Well, I guess we now know how dead the name MM is. Remember, how there always used to be talk that an old school MM would outsell current MM?..
I guess it could have done better had there been a lot more original songs, I dunno.... but still 7k seems pretty dire.

Considering it only takes 7k sales to get into number 8, which I consider a pretty good position, it sounds like the entire music industry is in trouble.
