I don't want eggs in the group either. Just new eggs in general. I hope vocalist is at least 18 with the guitarist at 20 or 22(I kind of expect a good one to be older anyway). Holding auditions for a singer to join a rock band. Sounds familiar...



I could see Reina excelling at this since the don't-give-a-fuck is apparently strong in her. If nothing else, it's just cool to see H!P doing something fresh for a change. And if they find four or five girls in addition to the winner who work well together, well, bonus.

So they're holding more auditions in September and if "all goes well" whatever that means, Tsunku will reveal them at the 2013 winter H!P concert.

Well, that's annoying. Hopefully, the delay means that they are really taking this seriously, but you can never tell with Tsunku. So if they are going to be revealed at the H!P concert, that means they have to be officially part of H!P, right? That would be nice.

As much as I love this idea, I also hate it. Because it does seem like her graduation is lurking near. And, I just can't see MoMusu without Tanaka-san. She's my favorite member, and it would kill me to see her leave.

But since I think the second round of auditions closed, something should be mentioned soon? Tsunku said he hoped to debut them at the Winter H!P concert. But by that, does he mean show them off or actually have them perform? I feel like something might have gotten lost in translation with that, because I'm not sure exactly what that means.

Reina's band members have been decided on!

They are Okada Marina (19/vocals), Uozumi Yuki (21/guitar), and Miyazawa Marin (19/guitar).



Marina looks like Berryz' Miya and Jessica from SNSD's lovechild.

Yuki is meh, she looks... old? Reminds me of old school H!P members.

Marin looks like an AKB version of Sayu with brown hair.



Fans can vote on the name for the band!



But they're missing the drummer!! How can you have a band with no drummer????

Anyway, with Reina's graduation, it looks like this band could be a very serious commitment. Maybe they could tour with Buono? Kinda of a rock-rock thing.

Well, as it goes, they're now asking you for name suggestions!



You can make any submissions to band-name-atto-maaku-reinaband.com (it's at the bottom of the page) with your pen name, age, and gender.



You can email as many as you want, as long as they are all different per address (i.e., you can't spam them with the same band name). I'm also going to presume there has to be some credit or award involved, because they've also stated that if there are multiple people suggesting the winning name, the lucky winner gets chosen out of the winners' lottery.

They look pretty meh. I guess all of them except Reina kinda fit the part, but as usual, she just looks awkward. It feels like they're just trying to copy off of Scandal's success, and I don't like them anyway. I guess a lot of this can depend on who actually ends up writing their music, but from the looks of it, it may not be Tsunku, even though he's producing, which could be a good thing, but might not. For the naming of the band, I sent in: 乙女ｘ愛 . My meaning for this name is somewhat along the lines of Girl's Love. I know that technically it should be 愛ｘ乙女, but I decided that OtomeｘAi sounded better than AiｘOtome.

The other one I was thinking about was 少女Ｘ. But, everytime I read that, I thought of Shoujo Q, so I came up with OtomeｘAi instead.

I originally just wanted something with an X in it. No idea why, but that was my motivation.

I was trying to think of a name with COMPLEX in it so we can shorten the name to -con. I could think of nothing.

Now that she's graduating, I feel having a second vocalist is useless. If she was still going to be in the group, the band could operate independently of her with the second singer, but since she's going to be full time it seems pointless.



And Masaki is totally going to be their drummer.

What about 恵み コンプレックス (Megumi Konpurekkusu/Goddess Complex)? Like as in company or organization of goddesses.
