Sayumi modeling?

Post by eri »

Sorry for the frivolous thread making but holy.

I always thought that Sayumi had the most beautiful PBs. I thus presumed it was because Sayumi was either very photogenic or knew how to move her body and face best. Look at how different she looks in these An An photos...

It is partly the styling but man, she looks terrible.

Can't wait to see the kinds of modeling Koharu will do.

It's definitely the styling. Sayu's face doesn't suit the obnoxious teen magazine makeup/hair. :T Takahashi had a spread in an-an a while ago too that was much, much better.

She still looks cute to me. IF ONLY they wore stuff like this for the new PV, it would have made it so much better. Well the 2nd outfit is OK, but the first is good as long as they replace the bow with something else.

Is the 2nd picture suggesting we wear wigs?

Sayumi looks absolutely gorgeous and, if anything, her clothes really take away from her great hair styling. The denim jacket is total blah and whenever I see a long white skirt like that, I'm reminded of how great Takahashi looked in that English H!M.

It's interesting to see Sayumi with a different color hair besides her normal black. Whatever they used sorta takes away and I can do without the first outfit, the second I think is pretty cute in an late 80s early 90s sort of way.

And listen to this girl too! The fancy ridiculous dresses must go away. We need more casual/street clothing, like in Shabondama or ROMAN. Or Aruiteru.

[tinytext]And okay if there's one thing that does bother me in those photos it's the excessive eyeliner or whatever they put around her eyes.[/tinytext]

I love Sayumi. <3

Though the makeup really changed the look of her face. She looks better with a more natural look, because in these photos she looked like a porcelain doll. And it's kinda freaking me out.

I do like the second outfit however. Except the boots. Blech.

I disagree, man. I love Sayu. I think she's cuter than Takahashi, but that look does not do her justice at all. Keep the clown makeup on Tsuji.

NO THEY DON'T! The more it seems Tsunku or their stylist are on drugs, the better.

Of course she looks terrible. There's not much you can do with that ugly face (except apparently make it look even uglier than normal in that first scan). What's with those eyes? Her photobooks are only good because you can pruriently look at the other things she is showing off instead of her face.

This. She looks awful! What are you people talking about? She looks so pretty in her normal mm makeup. I don't get the weird heavy fake eyelashes and clown cheeks. It makes her look dumpy.

On the other hand, I don't mind the first outfit so much. The second one is a bad 80s flashback. Anyone who thinks that shit looks good must be too young to remember the post80s horror at the 80s.

If you think Sayu is just, in general, ugly, I can only imagine the sort of conniption fit you have when you walk out your door and see what your average schmo on the street looks like! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />

They just look so... not azn... not cawai...

Anyway, it's not a secret that most people are not interesting, especially in a sexual way. There's this german saying "90% der Frauen sind so interessant wie Knäckebrot", which translates to "90% of women are as interesting as crispbread". Thinking somebody is not interesting however, doesn't make them automatically ugly, just uninteresting.

Now, if you say NOBODY in MM is attractive to you, then we might have a problem.

Eh, beauty is sub - ject - ive.

[tinytext] Sofia Vergara, Penelope Cruz, Miki Fujimoto, Halle Berry, Maki Goto, Rani Muhkerjee, Pink, Kajol. Though looking through I suppose I have a specific type I like, which is almost the antithesis of Sayumi. Hahahaha [/tinytext]

Believe it or not, it's debatable wether or not beauty is subjective. (or even exists at all)

I've had a class last semester about beauty and aesthetics and the idea of beauty not being objective is quite new actually.

So basically, you just think she's ugly in general and used these less-than-optimal photos of her to as an excuse to make a thread to let everyone know that you think she's ugly. So noted. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /pouty.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />
